Grigg's debut isn't any better, 2-0 down to Gillingham.

My god, Pope scored with his foot.
Not only are our defence poor in the air, they are on the floor too.
Smith Out!

Half-time, and it's 1-0. How about one or two early substitutions Deano? Nothing to lose, get the likes of Clifford and Bakayoko on and let's see what they can do!!

Don`t think it`s a question of being negative, rather facing facts. Smith is not concerned about not scoring therefore you let them in and as a consequence you lose. Simples.

So you think negatively is fine 25 minutes into a new season?
You feel its okay to support the side for 25 minutes before having a go?

Actually nearer 45 minutes. I am only repeating what Smith has said. He is not concerned about the lack of scoring, that if you like is a go at him.

I for one was thinking negatively 25 minutes before this
I would love to be proved wrong, but it's time to take off the rose tinted glasses

Lee Hughes crashes through the defence and nicks a goal for Forest Green.

Rose tinted glasses? If Walsall lose today its to a side with bigger support, resources and budget. No great surprise.
Maybe you should adjust your expectations!
Why is the real world so hard to accept for some Walsall fans?

So basically no smaller team can beat any bigger team? Is that the real world?

Attendance 7,050
We've jumped to mid-table
Vale defender McGivern booked.......
....and 3 minutes later Adam Chambers also goes into the referee's book.
