At half time on BBC WM, they said "It's a shame we didn't play like this at Wembley", glad we didn't 6-2 humiliating

At half-time it was 2-2, so they were quite right to say it

Agree with your last 2 posts Sadders!! Whatever happens we need to have better attacking options than we have had for most of this season. UTS

People ask for the boring, negative football to stop...we score 13 in 5...beat teams around us and look to end the season with a freedom....half time it's 2-2 and we are brillant....top of the league pick us off and it's Smith OUT - BACK to 4-5-1.
Please. Have a word with yourselves in the mirror. It's a proper dead rubber, go and have a run at them FFS.

I'm looking forward to Phil posting. He's really proved Smith wrong about not playing O'Connor and Cain at Wembley. In your face Smithy!

I blame O'Donnell.
He was stuck on his bench for all six goals.

Good thing is that unlike the final we at least made them go into 3rd gear. Unfortunately, they then quickly found fourth by the sound of it.
Last time we conceded 7?
Or 8 ?????

So bad I've got to concede this day to Ancient Moaner....he predicted it could be a record third division score.

Their CH has scored a hat trick from corners - more evidence to pooh-pooh your contention that we need bigger defender

Studying his contract.
Still, he'll be no great loss according to some experts.

Aye, closely followed a couple of weeks later by a 6-3 at Oxfud....Then, of course, came the Milk Cup.

I think in the end I was persuaded, against 150 years of conventional football wisdom, that height is no advantage in winning defensive headers.
Nooooooooot!!!!
Next I'm waiting to be persuaded that pace is no advantage for a striker running onto a through ball....

8-2! :(
Whether the game is a 'dead rubber' or not, and we 'had a go' at them, that is simply woeful and embarrassing.

If only we'd "had a go" at Wembley, we could have ended up with the same scoreline...SMITHOUT!
