Good first half. Let's hope for more of the same 2nd half.

8 points out of a possible 12, 4 clean sheets and 5 goals tonight. Relegation threat gone, another season in league one on a bare budget. Well done Smithy!! Hopefully a few out there can begin to get a grip now.

Gutted I couldn't be there but oh so happy with that scoreline. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
We're safe in style.
We can have a relaxing day out at Crewe on Saturday and maybe a few more goals from the free scoring Saddlers.
Free-scoring Saddlers. Not scoring-free Saddlers.
Better.

We are now the only team below seventh without a negative goal difference

Re: Crawley Town (H) League One 14th Apr, 7.45pm
This is the first Tuesday night home game I've missed this season, I decided not to make the 3 hour round trip mainly due to our boring sideways football. I said to the missus earlier that we're bound to score a hat full tonight and look what's happened, gutted I missed it, but chuffed with result and for the 3,200 who made the effort.

21 clean sheets for the defence this season in the league.
Now I've been slagging off O'Connor all season but credit to him he's played well since he's been given a run at centre half. Just makes you wonder why Smith wasted so much time shoe-horning him in at right back.
