Manset looks V good on the video compilation, (but so did Nogood!)
Could this be the new forward that all the rumours are about? :D
Think he looks strong and aggressive, just what we need, someone who knows how to score goals! :D
However, he looks too good for us? :( Will be expensive, but pleeeease Deano give it a whirl, a strong
striker who knows where the back of the net is. We have all been waiting for such an 'animal' to be in a Walsall shirt for soooo long, even if we end up with a defence like a colander, if we can do a high scoring 'Peterborough' on it, at least it will give the fans something to cheer and feel confident about?

Bit of a coincidence that. Is he the "attack-minded" player we're unveiling tomorrow???

He's part of the Leicester coaching team. Signed for them during the pre-season.

Looking at his profile, that Manset has had a LOT of clubs in a very short time, and it doesn't look good from his time at Sion.
Maybe DS can get him focused and scoring goals which we dearly need.
But I still cant understand why we didn't go for young Cassidy from the Wolves. He is off at Notts County now, but he can do a job in league one.
Just you watch him score loads for County

Cassidy did nothing last season and is the kind of striker who does nothing but poach, I disliked Westcarr so much because he added nothing to the team. Manset would bring something entirely different to the team and probably score a similar amount.

New scoreboard seemed to lack match fitness in the first half, fading badly after around 35 minutes - possibly due to a shortage of chips.
Perked up in the second half, a bit like the Saddlers performance.

fudge laughed (on my own  ) when they were showing pictures of the first team as they announced their names, and Adam Chambers had no picture whatsoever... invisible Adam Chambers, similar to his performances in his first season for us!

Decent game, more than deserved a draw from it but 2 worldies won it for the premier league new boys. Of the new signings:
O'Connor: Looked solid enough, got caught out of position one too many times though.
Grimes: Looked lively, unlucky not to score with a cheeky first time effort in the first half after a poor clearance from their keeper. Took his goal nicely in the second half. Could chip in with some important goals/performances this season.
Bradshaw: Didn't have much time to make an impact - did a lot of running around, will probably be a handful in that respect but didn't see enough of him technically to make a judgment.
Manset: Impressive - as many have said looks to be what we were lacking so much last season. Sign the boy up!
Webber: Didn't see enough of him really to make a judgment. Seems to have a decent turn of pace and his shooting in the warm up was very impressive (not realistic to a match situation i know). Rightly or wrongly, wouldn't surprise me to see Smith give him a 1 year.

Webber made a great run and was robbed of a chance of a goal by a handball that should have been deemed a penalty.
The most impressive shooting in the warm ups is provided by Cultler.

With the exception of his debut (when he looked brilliant), he was gash that season.
I'd forgotten about that.

Looks as if the mail reckons our new captain is Adam Jambers
Yeah. But who's his lover? We need to know!
