[quote="Sadders"]Good win against a decent side at a tough ground. It seems to have been coming in the last couple of games, only 2 deflected late goals have cost us an unlucky 4 points.

Want to echo that. Overall, I don't think we've had the balance of luck this season. If there is anything in the old saw about luck evening out, we could be in for a good end to the season. :D

We needed that and so did Westcarr!

If Posh lose their game in hand we are in with a chance, which is unbelievable considering our recent run.

.. but we are now 4 unbeaten since Mordor at home.

And could so easily have had at least four more points...
Still, it's been a good season despite the "traditional" winless run at the wrong time* :D

*NB A winless run is ALWAYS at the wrong time, whenever it occurs!

Great win tonight to seal league 1 football again for next season.
Now is the time to try out some of the youngsters to see if they are up to it.
The build for next year should start now.

Excellent second half performance in which we looked much more dangerous than the first and at last we score two goals the second of which was a cracker. O'Donnell wasn't troubled. A well deserved win.

Don't like to curb your enthusiasm, but have you noticed Posh's run-in?
You could easily fancy them to win seven of their final eight games. :(

I wonder whether the Posh Chairman will push the panic button though... their wage-bill might suggest that Ferguson's head might be on the chopping-block if they cannot arrest their alarming slide soon (let them appoint Warnock and our chances of the play-offs improve overnight!)

Storming result. Well happy with that. Well done the lads, nice to see us get the luck, instead of the oppo, and long may that continue.

Great win.

Well, that was three great points, we were really on form in the second half after a dour first half from both teams, though we were generally well on top. But my god, Bradford were appalling, their own fans getting on their backs for most of the second half, watch out for a late sink towards the relegation zone for them!
Why does Deano always take off our 'best' two players in attack, Brandy & Lalko?
Enough of the light criticism, The team seemed to gell once again last night, we were never troubled by them for most of the night, until McQuilkin came on...he was turned so many times he looked like a merrygoround!
Butler was immense, as was Mantom & the two Chambers, Baxendale was a revelation as a winger, and a great cross for the first goal from Taylor. (and yes I agree Sawyers DOES pull out of tackles, though he did work his socks off)
All round solid away performance, great to see a win at last, made the cold all the more bearable.
We desperately need a striker for next season though (Send Ngood back), how did our 'scouts' (   ) miss Winnall? A local lad tearing up tree roots for Scunny.

Fair play to those who went, in terms of area, pre-match experience etc Bradford has to rank as one of my least favourite away days from over the years.

The least he could do is come on here to make a comment after bombarding us with BS every time we lose or draw. Complete Joker - lets hope he stays gone

I take it Baxendale didn't play upfront then? Mr Salian needs to be more persuasive in his tactical musings to the ginger one!

Baxendale for me made all of the difference, he was class in not only what he did, but his movement created so much space for Taylor - and this resulted in the first goal.

Great performance in a cracking stadium, it was worth getting back for half 1 in the morning!

Couple of decent goals, lovely ball from Taylor. Second goal deflected? We've deserved one of them recently. Westcarr nearly had a hatrick, lovely ball across from Febby.

Loved the first goal much more than the second. It was a sumptuous ball from Taylor and a proper number 9 goal. Fighting like mad to get in front of the defender and giving the cross the end product it deserved. If we'd just scored a few more like that this season we'd be comfy top six.

It was indeed a perfect ball, Neil Pointon type cross! and a perfect near post run.
