They seem to be taking it to them, all we need now is the ball in the net again. C`mon the lads.

Peterborough don't need to worry about screwing things up - we're quite capable of doing it ourselves......
Hewitt on for Brandy for the last four minutes......is this Plan G, I wonder?

I'd suggest we all start focusing on the 4 points required as our achievement this season.
Especially with the confidence battering we'l take losing to Wolves, Rotherham and Bradford in the next few weeks.

Longest run of the season without a win.
10 goals conceded in 6 games, only 4 scored.
Only scored 2 or more goals in 3 of the last 13 games. (This is the most worrying stat)
That's lower to mid table form, we've not just dropped off the pace, we've nosedived.

An inability to change things when not going well dare I say that's what goes wrong.

Flipping heck we're on a bad run but is it really as doom and gloom as all this? We lost on Saturday away at Preston who are 4th and in amazing form, we lost tonight to a Coventry side who would be above us if they hadn't had points deducted. It's not like we're losing to Lincoln just yet. Peterborough have also lost their last two games....in fixtures that are easier than ours.
It's worrying that we're in crap form but it's not over yet. It really just seems like some people were waiting for us to fail so they could have a moan.

Just let that sink in. Frankly that is woeful, puts so much pressure on the defence, and just goes to show that when things don't quite go our way, we're stumped for ideas

We just don't create enough chances to score enough goals and the few chances we do, we have not got the players to put them away.
We have no plan B either because Baxendale is just a scared little boy who worries about doing wrong instead of having a good go and Hewitt is nothing more than Sunday league.
Taylor needs to come back but I'd keep Benning on left flank and change system to 4 4 2. Drop Sawyers and Westcarr who are both bone idle and try out Ngoo and give Lalcovic a shot as a central striker.

After such a good season I really don,t think we will achieve the heights of the 9th position achieved last year now. What a waste.
If the ginger one embarks on a run similar to the mid term one of last year we will be sweating to stay up at this rate.
Very very disappointing but typical walsall.

I'm not talking about tonight, I'm talking in general. 9 on target tonight is probably equal to the previous 5 games combined

Indeed, I don't think it's quite silly season just yet.
But certainly, we need to have a bit of tinker in March with the merciless run of fixtures.
If 6th becomes a distant fantasy, then we can certainly look at fringe players and other more radical plans then.

Not checked the stats but, I would say that 1 goal from 14 attempts sums up our problem.
