Nearly 40 minutes since we last scored, it's not good enough.

83:29 - Attempt blocked. Milan Lalkovic (Walsall) right footed shot from the left side of the box is blocked.

If this shot was on target then there is a flaw in their shot reporting...as the shots on target has not increased from 12....and what is the difference between a shot stopped by a goalkeeper and an outfield player (unless the shot was miles away)?

Peterboro....losing 4-5 at Oldham after having been 3-0 up at half time.

This proves my point about scoring as many as you can.

However....Peterboro did concede two of those goals after having a player sent off.

I'm reminded of John Cleese's line in "Fawlty Towers" in the "rat" episode......."Can't we get you on Mastermind Sybil? The next contestant Sybil Fawlty from Torquay, specialist subject "The Bleedin' Obvious"

On target strike rate Notts Co. 70%
On target strike rate Walsall 59%

Accuracy went to crap in last 3rd of the game, but still, 22 shots on goal is the way the goals are going to come.

This illustrates how much we have suffered from the loss of our attacking players....its kind of criminal that not even one was properly replaced earlier in the season.

But Lalkovic and Westcarr have stepped up to fill the gap a little.

How can you put a negative spin on a great win like that?!!!!

And, you could actually have had more shots on target and have a lower percentage than the other team, if you had more shots in the first place!! :D

Fantastic result! I wonder whether Sheff Utd fans will be scratching their heads about Brandy this evening. :D

Excellent results elsewhere to, although it was a slight shame that Rotherham equalised late on. Still, neither P'boro or R'ham won which is a massive bonus

Whether Numpty or Humpty Dumpty....Some people among managers and supporters believe in turning defensive after scoring a couple of goals.

Indeed you could have more shots on target and more shots than the other team and still lose, but the way forward is the way of today....more shots+more shots on target :)

Note the goal difference has been significant in today's standings

Looking forward to hearing from those who went. Gutted I wasn't there. But what a result that is - and a decent set elsewhere as well.

Febien Brandy - thank goodness there is no recall clause in his loan deal with us.

I really hope that we can muster over 4,000 Walsall fans on Tuesday night. This team and management deserve backing.

Well knock me down with a feather, I have to miss the game and they score 5. Suppose that means I had better miss the next game so they can win convincingly again. :D :D :D :D :D

Amazing result!

Did i just see Lee Hughes scoring for a non-league team? Or is it a different one?

Listening to radio nottingham they are saying it was 30 shots with 18 on target!
Halfway through the second half someone in front of me said it should be ten, they were wrong it should have been 12 or 13!
I'm being picky after such a performance but some of the chances they missed were criminal.
