Having to listen to the BBC Wiltshire commentary tonight as I miss our first fixture at the County Ground for many a long year. We seem to have started well, with a few good crosses in open play and a number of early corners. Mantom just gone close.

Bleedin nora. All the radio is blocked.
Any ideas, seeing as Tunnelbear doesn't work anymore?

I've had an Android tablet recently, and the only way I could get the official commentary to work was via a browser called Puffin - available on the Google App store.
I think Adobe have recently withdrawn support for Flash player on Android, think this might have something to do with it.

Possibly. You can download Firefox and Flash for android to bypass the flash issues.

Saddlers well on top at the moment. There have been several efforts on goal from us and Fotheringham making a number of saves in the early stages - "Walsall attacking in style" according to local radio.

Elsewhere our position is strengthened as Port Vale go into a 0-2 lead at Crawley.

Re: Swindon Town (A) League One Tue Oct 22nd, 7.45pm
I was almost a coin toss away from attending this match, I only knew it was on at 4:45pm and I had to catch a train to get there soon after....If the train had not been such a rip off I still would have gone...I had thoughts like "I will rush and starve myself going there and get a headache and bone aches...and they will hardly have a shot on goal" So now they are winning 1-0 and have had 4 shots all on target, the best start to a game this season in terms of shooting accuracy. However, If I had gone...the air would have been different due to my heavy breathing....and perhaps they would have started with an own goal. However that butterfly effect reasoning does not soothe me knowing I could have been there :(

Taylor booked for a tackle on Ranger that the Swindon commentary team did not even think was a foul

Gillingham now lead Notts County 2-0....how much longer for Chris Kiwomya?
Half-time in the early kick-off...Peterborough 0 Sheffield United 0
Oh, and Accrington (League 2) are 2-1 ahead on Bristol Rovers. Some chap called Bowerman warming Accie's bench!!

According to the BBC website it's Featherstone that has been booked, though they don't say why...
Now Preston North End 1 Bradford 1
and MK Dons 0 Carlisle United 1

I think that is what I heard, Welsh, but they may well be wrong. Fortunately, they made nothing of the free kick that came from it.
Swindon coming back into it, but Walsall "more incisive" in their forward play.

Always edgy at 1-0.....but it does seem that we have the measure of them. We've had 5 shots (Swindon 2), 4 on target (Swindon 0), and 8 corners to their 2.
We must be doing something right, and look at the impact subs waiting to have a gew!!!
(Edit... Dingles holding mighty Oldham Athletic 0-0 at the Custard Factory  )

Re: Swindon Town (A) League One Tue Oct 22nd, 7.45pm
BBC Wiltshire are apparently  shocked  that they are losing to us. However, they admit that Walsall are "two steps ahead of Town" and that "Walsall are the best side they have seen so far [at home] this season". We are apparently using the flanks well and their defenders are struggling to cope with our movement.
Swindon have apparently edged possession but we should be further ahead. Bax, Mantom, Westcarr and Hemmings have all had shots that the keeper has had to deal with, whilst O'Donnell has been untested as yet.
I hope we don't rue these missed chances...

If we're using wingers, does that make us the best team ever to play the game of football, lawn bowls and TENNIS?
