They were 1-0 down when they took him off on Saturday and won 3-1.

Hasn't helped the result. Looks like they suffer from cheap ticket curse too. None of their part-timers will be back next match!

I want to go to MKDoughnuts...but want Walsall to win. Maybe I buy a train ticket to go and don't go...then maybe Walsaal win 5-0.

If I buy a season ticket and don't go to any game at all maybe Walsall win the league.

Another bloody stayaway

We're going up with no strikers, for that is the Black Country Barca way...

Great to hear a commentary without the commentators analysing the significance to Wolves of every event.

You would think Swindon had been beaten by Tipton Town seeing the surprise on Gillette Soccer Special. They know fudge all.

Any road, this glass of red tastes even better looking at the L1 table. I bid you all a very pleasant evening :D

Their tippy tappy schtick has been found out by the better teams. Whereas we've evolved it into some next level shizzle.

My word - what a result. Never back against this side, specifically away from home. Sounds as though we could in the words of a Swindon fan 'had 10', brillant performance and result. If we can beat Coventry on Saturday I'll be jizzing my way to MK Dons the week after - should be taking a nice big following their.

Westcarr in...

Not sure if you heard WM, but Mike Taylor who was commentating said he doesn't watch Walsall often, but Westcarr was marvellous, for the way he finds space, and links midfeld to attack.

It only took him one game...

My two glasses of white were spiffing, old fruit. It was difficult to resist another but adrenaline turned out to be sufficient.

Nice to see opposing fans appreciate us, instead of the normal bitter comments that losing normally brings...

On BBC Wiltshire after the match the vast majority of the tweets read out mentioned how well we played, as well as the obvious disappointment they had with their own side. One even said " at least we don't have to play a Walsall every week"! Also, a Dingles fan 'passing through the area' tweeted in "that Walsall are the best side in the division and could win the league". A wind up, surely, but I enjoyed it.

The assistant manager of Swindon was also interviewed after the match [Mark Cooper apparently had a 'bad throat']. He seemed stunned by the result and was at a complete loss to explain it. I have a feeling that they underestimated us and thought they would be too good, I'm not even sure they had us watched if the interview with the assistant plank was anything to go by. The local media down here have been glowing about Swindon's recent results - 4 wins in a row - and performances, and I think they believed their own hype. Shame, that.

Love the Swindon messageboard..... "It's been a long time since anyone turned up at the County Ground and ripped us apart like Walsall did"

Cooper watched us on Saturday and was rather complimentary in his pre-match comments. We tend to play better against good teams away from home because they can't face playing a containing game in front of their expectant fans against "little old Walsall". More fool them.
