Anyway. Back to the predictor thread:-
Wolfs 3-4 Saddlars Barrasx2 & Rambox2
6745 (978 mighty Reds)
I might try and get into the Goalpost for a quick pre-match imbibing.

Big George in for Ricketts, Siggy alongside Doyle up front and McDonald to start again as he did at Vale.
Think Wolves will still have a decent side out so 3-0 for me.
Doyle, Sako & Golbourne are doubtful according to KJ

I think I'll be happy with a decent performance but can't really see us getting a result with the players they have. If Walsall were watched by Wolves scouts on Saturday then the main threat will come from the wings, corners and set pieces.
Having said all this, I am going to predict:
Wolves 1 - 1 Walsall, AET. Walsall win 3 - 2 on Pens. Huge trouble after the game.
Hemmings with the goal for the Saddlers.
UTS!
Oh and by the by, bet of the day according to a few tip websites is to back Wolves at 6/5 on -1 goal handicap. :(

Walsall are 5-1 to win on the exchanges, be rude not to put a tenner on it.
Cant see it, with all the will in the world.
We just wont cope with their set pieces and crosses into the box.

Cracking odds for us, 5/1 to win and 8/5 to draw or win (double chance).

Last time all the doormen asked to see tickets as most town pubs are home fans only. Just simply say you're not a football fan and they'll let you in. Pub crawl sorted.

Thanks Dr & Bushbury! Just seen on Twitter that Walkabout is being designated as away only so think that may be the last call of the tour!

Kenny Jacket has soon become a dingle.
He spoke this morning of treating us with respect.Like he was Alex Ferguson preparing to play Rushall Olympic (No disrespect) in a cup game.I would like to remind him that his big club is in league one and may not escape the burden this season.

I see your point but the three goals against Preston could easily have been stopped imo.
Butler can protect him yes, but from set pieces there is at least 2 threats. A big achilles heel for us i feel, unless the keeper starts to command.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending the goals he's conceded - I'm just saying he does have attributes that make him a promising 'keeper.
I think he's quite similar to John Ruddy, when we had him for that brief loan spell. He barely left his line and we suffered as a result. Difference is, he was a few years younger than O'Donnell, and Norwich have developed him into an England squad regular.
We need Cutler to be earning his crust on the training ground with O'Donnell.
I think the problem with Richard (N)O'Donnies is that he doesn't seem to think he's allowed to use his hands when the ball is in the box.
I understand some keepers don't come off the line for crosses, but I can't forgive someone who stays rooted to the spot when the ball is whistling towards goal. He could have let another 3/4 in doing just that in the last few games alone.

No, mistake by Andy Taylor.
I'm curious why people are trying so hard not to like O'Donnell?

Just saying that almost every goal we have given away this season has been down to an individual mistake not due to the fact we were out played by a superior opposition

It's not hard because he's not very good, I don't even have to try I just watch him and it's obvious.

has anybody else got that annoying chattering sound on Saddlersworld commentary?? The good thing is it does muffle out kearns occasionally.

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers FL Trophy (A) 3 Sep 7.45pm
Maybe I'm being naive, but I'd rather have a keeper that doesn't come for crosses, instead of one who does and then misses it. At least if he never comes then the defence know where they stand rather than worrying he's gonna come racing out and start flapping around.
Obviously, someone who could come and claim them like Clayton did would be nice, but I don't think he's a poor keeper.
