1-0 to the Saddlers, Taundry signs a last minute double your money contract and comes on in the 90th minute to score a screamer followed by a huge chant of 'he's one of our own' which prompts complaints from the wedding party that it's too noisy that makes front page headlines in the sun on Sunday. *

P-P
A freak snowstorm pelts the Banks's throughout the night. The fans work furiously to successfully clear the pitch in time for kick-off, but one of the fire bins (aka over-soil heating) topples over, causing a fire that ultimately spreads to the M6, leading to carnage not seen since the last instalment of Final Destination. Walsall to pounce on the opportunity to sell the DVD of the incident in the club shop under the title "Besc-hot" for £24.99.

Walsall 1 tranmere 2
Att 3672
I think we will need to show patience and give them a chance to settle the new young players - hope the fans are as good as last year for me the positivity of the crowd was the best thing about the season and the belief was tremendous.
If we get off to a bad start results wise we know that we have the management experience to get out of it as has been showed in recent seasons. We also have some cash.

Elsewhere, Coventry already 1-0 down at Crawley.
Troy Deeney opens his account this season, giving Watford the lead at St. Andrews.
At home after 20 minutes we're still ahead 1-0, and we've had 3 corners and 4 shots, which is 3 and 4 more than Tranmere......
(Edit...Coventry now 2-0 down; it's not looking like their season, is it?)

Is it perhaps Tranmere Girls High 2nd eleven that we are playing cus the Tranmere Board wouldn't give the coach driver his keys after a 'spat' regarding the choice of jelly for the trip down the M6?
