A VERY one-sided game at the Bezla which Walsall should have won by a big margin. Sadly, finishing skills were conspicuous by their absence. The only attacking player to emerge with much credit was Hemmings and even he was only good in flashes. Sterling-James hit the post in the first half (when it looked easier to score!) and Hemmings went close with a header in the second half which flashed just over the bar. Extremely frustrating.
Belshaw, in goal, performed well - what little he had to do. He is English, ex-Heanor Town (in Derbyshire), Duke University (USA) and Chicago Fire in the MSL.

you was their sexyman ? i thought omari james looked good aswell, the hemmings header was so so close.
sawyers is league one at best ! flicked at everything, there was some touches of quality though, but after today, i wont get to excited if he replaces someone with us needing a goal, he cold of scored a couple.
hartlepools right back made some great overlapping runs but thankfully pool failed to use him.
i thought our subtitute left back looked quite a good player aswell.

My mate has been coaching him for the Birmingham County FA team. He told me about him last year and that they have high hopes for him. It's Deano's stomping ground so has close links at Ray Hall Lane which we would benefit from.

James Belshaw? He was on our book a few years back before moving to the US. Pretty sure he was highly rated too
