Half time now need to close this out and could do with Shrewsbury equalising again to make it a good afternoon.

Aw shucks...how can we be so 'on top' and let 'em score!

Perhaps the defence has been 'thrown' by the intro of Benning?

Dont spoil my great day Saddlers... :(

Looks very much like the 'wannabies' are coming back into the game bigtime....think if we let this one slip it's the end of our dreams for this season...so come on lads, a trip on Brandy would be welcome?

Why a substitution in the 90th minute when you need to win the game. if needed it should have been made earlier.

A draw is better than a loss but it is becoming more dificult now to believe it is still possible. While there are still points to be had we can do it but. :!:

I wasn't there myself but according to the BBC he'd just committed a foul and he was already on a booking - maybe that was the reason.

Bathsaddler must be having a day off today. Just over 7k there with about 1500 thicktards from the republic of Southern Yorkshire. So about 5 and a half of us - not too bad.

I've a feeling we'll be without both Butler and Brandy, for the next two.

I'm pretty sure that was Brandy's tenth booking of the season.

Think that's right. Both on 9 bookings weren't they? Never mind. Let's go all out for 9 points from the last three games and see what happens. Summat to play for at Crewe (no matter how improbable the maths) would be an amazing achievement. If it just ends up being a booze up in honour of a great effort from everyone at the club this season then that will be almost as much fun.

poor game realy. pitch cost us as we had to play their game, and they are better at it. Didnt take our chances :(

subs too late again.

first time in a while we lost control of the midfield in a game, for the second half. Paterson had a stinker to be honest but they all worked hard.Just dissapointed as i thought we were very flat for most of the game but we could have done them on the break more than we did. Chambers was everywhere he just needed some help.My MOTM by a mile.

Knew they were gonna score when taylor went of, they targeted Benning and he was all over the place for their goal and struggled a bit. for the rest of the game.

Still, onwards and upwards still in with an outside chance. UTS

Yeah, Taylor injury changed the game really. I don't think Benning did too much wrong (if anything Pato let his man get away too easily for their goal), but Taylor up till that point had been having a very good game. When Benning came on for him it was pretty clear that he and Paterson just didn't have the same understanding / communication, and Sheffield smelt blood.

Their half time substitution made a difference too, Porter asked more of our defence his first five minutes than Kitson did in the entire first half.
