We can do these.
We need to win and I don't know if we will...
Though I have said that for the last few games.

This is mossiv. We need to win, a win and we are only a point behind them though obviously they have games in hand. We don't need to catch them but psychologically and in terms of momentum it would be huge to have 68 points come Saturday evening. All we can do is win our matches, someone somewhere will lose their bottle.
I will go for a very nervy 2-1 to us. Roll on Saturday. :D

OK, can I revise my prediction to an easy 4-1 to us as our lot will skin him :D

Re: Sheffield United (H) League 1 Saturday 6/3/13.
A fair degree of doom and gloom on the Blades mad forum....apparently Radio Sheffield have said that Kitson (injured), McMahon (suspended), and Hill (concussed with double vision) are ruled out of Saturday's game. Some contributors to that board reckon it ain't necessarily so, but there seems to be a general agreement that they will be taking the field without a recognised striker.
Westlake is reckoned by many to be an asset, as he will attack more than defend!!!
Also Dominic Poleon has been recalled by parent club Leeds United from his loan at Sheffield United.
This has to be a home win to keep our hopes alive. Possibly unrealistic to expect another 4-0 (although that's what Stevenage did to the Blades) - 2-0 will do me, and I don't care who scores for us!!

If the rumours of their missing players are true then that gives us a real chance. The Secret Footbal... sorry I mean Dave Kitson has been instrumental in building a strong platform for them so let's hope it is at least true about him.

Not scoring many goals are they ?
Before I even looked at that, can't see past a Walsall win, I honestly believe we are the best team in this division now, and the big games seem to bring the best out of us.
5-1 Paterson 3, Mantom, and Brandy.

Re: Sheffield United (H) League 1 Saturday 6/3/13.
The confidence was flowing on Saturday and I wasn't that impressed with them at their place even when we were down to ten men. Kitson out is a big plus if true.
Paterson and Brandy would rip Westlake to pieces.
Like Saus says, they're not scoring many, we're not conceding many and we've got the goals back so a 2-0 win for us. Paterson and Grigg.
I've been saying for a few games, its not over until its out of reach, but if we're to make the play offs we've got to win at least 3, if not all games, starting with this one.

Stevenage aside, they're not conceding many either.
It'll probably end up being a goal-fest. I really hope Westlake plays.

Walsall 3 - 1 Sheffield U
( 7,673 ATT (1,500 Away)
Grigg (Pen)
Patterson
Brandy
Finger's crossed. 6 draws out of the last 10 so this seems to be the more likely result but hope we can keep our play off chances alive and kicking.

Given the ticket offer, I predict there will be somwhere in the region of 400 invisible / imaginary children attending.

Actually, I should have predicted more than that. My ticket just cost £21.00.

Tactical ploy to keep The Blunts guessing, I'd say. Either way, I don't think he'll change the team from Monday, unless he's forced to.

No, he'll put the penalty to Ron Green's right (again) & he'll save it. Anyway Don Penn will score.

Yep, I'll have a pair of invisible children with me. Seemed daft to pay £21 when adding an extra pair of kids tickets saved me £11.
Incidentally, if anyone reading this can make use of two kids tickets in the Tile Choice upper, PM me. Free to anyone who can make use of them.

I thought someone had said that they will be asking people to pay full whack if they turn up with a discounted ticket, but without kids in tow? I can see this getting messy, and the club getting stick from those abusing the offer. ;)
