Getting as far as the supporters club doesn't count. That's pathetic, especially going on about it.

Oh, I don't know, 6 pints is a fair chunk of the admission fee to the ground contributed to paying the rent. Still waiting for an explanation of what the difference is, by the way.

So after insisting that stayaways wouldn't return even if we do well, one of the main bores... sorry stayaways decides to attend a game (albeit he ended up not going in).

All this while we're doing well... he returned. But they were not going to do that were they? But he did. And Bonser is still in charge.

And they wonder why noone takes them seriously.

Apparently if you play a gig there Bonser loses money.

How about in the Saddlers Club between 3pm and 5pm on the day of a home match?

Thought: Maybe if people stopped crowing on about the 'stayaways' but actually provided positive and constructive words in order to encourage people to come back... maybe they might come back?

All this 'us' and 'them' is damaging - we need as many people as possible back.

Maybe stayaways could club together to hire the big hydraulic platform currently being used to work on the ads board behind the away goal to see the match. Pretty sure bonsor doesn't own that too !!

Sorry I'm not really helping am I ......??

And there I was, thinking I'd been slagged off in the Advertiser by a so called stayaway, for doing just that!

This

Not this.

If they want to return - great. The club needs all the money it can get.

I won't be wasting energy trying to woo anybody though. We all know what the deal is: WFC plus current regime as is, or not. Take it or leave it.

YGA

Just cos ya mate fudged off to Rushall to eat chips.

If people want to go, they will go, I wouldn't give a toss what anyone else thought, and neither should they.

As a club, are far better looking for new fans rather than a handful that have decided to take some kind of moral stance, and it is a handful. The club seem to agree too, look to the future, not the past.

I like the idea of a section "All about Stayaways" section where they can bath in thier own love juice and leave those who want to talk about foorball to do so. I might even read some of it for a loff

Stayaways belong in the "Squirt" tab of certain unreputable tube sites.

Absolutely laughable reading back through this thread. Walsall fans? Yeah right. Discouraging fans from attending games. The very thought ....

Apart from nobody on this thread has discouraged anybody from going to games.

Closest we've had on this is somebody suggesting all stayaways club in for a cherry picker or platform so you can see into the stadium for nowt.

The overriding opinion has been that people couldn't give a toss whether you and other stayaways come back or not.

My opinion has been to show up your huge hypocrisy in staying away, but bragging about spending a load on beer in the Saddlers Club, which pays rent to Bonser.

Which you stated first, before any staying away was mentioned on this thread. If you can't handle the cack you get (proven by your whining) don't start it.

No you couldn't!

WHEN HAVE I EVER ACTUALLY DISCOURAGED ANYONE FROM GOING TO GAMES?

Ive vocally protested against the owner for years, but I've never told people not to go.

My decision to stay away is a personal opinion.

How about all the posts in the past calling people who go idiots for handing cash over to whom you variously call a leech, thief or worse. For a personal decision you don't half harp on about it.

There's a difference between having an opinion about paying Bonsers pension, and actually telling people "not to go"

How's it feel to be proven wrong again?
