Away fans in previous home end, if that makes sense.

Villa already one down at Arsenal (6 minutes)
In League One, Yeovil have taken the lead at Doncaster.....
Nothing to do with us, I know, but Bolton are 3-0 up at home to Hull City, after 8 minutes!!!!!!

Colchester have equalised against Tranmere.
Brentford appear to be having more of the play. They've had three times the number of shots we've had, and McCarey has been kept busy.

both teams have cleared off the line. Seems like we will have to soak up lots and lots of attacks today.

Brandy booked for diving - hope the ref keeps an eye on Right-Phatarse in the second half.

No point trying to hold out for a point if we're going for automatic promotion. Let's sexy football them to death.

Re: Brentford (A) League 1 Saturday 23/2/13.
Only two shots for us so far, one on target and one off, and 11 for them according to Sky stats, corners 7:5 in our favour, and possession is fairly even at only 51:49 to them. Need to make more of the possession we're getting and nicking this by the odd goal may yet be a possibility.
C'mon the lads, let's take the 3 points, although 1 will be far from a disaster!

Incredible situation at the top of L1. Two points separate the top 6.

At least the basis for a decent team seems likely (would be nice to have a keeper though). The players already signed up make the close season look less desperate than is usual for us.

Re: Brentford (A) League 1 Saturday 23/2/13.
A point at Griffin Park is a decent return. Not usually a productive venue for us as far as I can recall, so this is a welcome point, and well done the lads.
Back up to 9th after being leap-frogged by Notts C last night, 1 more point to the 50 point safety target, but I don't think that's been an issue for several weeks now. Nine points off the play-offs is satisfactory IMHO, but now looking like a very tall order to make the top six, especially as the majority of teams have at least a game in hand. Even so, after the last few seasons, I think most of us would regard this as a decent outcome.

Rubbish result, they've let me down again on my betting. Bristol City coming up trumps at 13/8 though, the O'Kelly factor coming good. I wonder how much Smith misses his 'input'?
Next up Carlisle away, defeat seems most likely result for our future England manager but like all proper Walsall fans I'm hoping for a 3 - 0 away win because hope springs eternal.
Anything but promotion is failure, settling for not getting relegated is pathetic.

One point and a clean sheet as a bonus got to be happy.

Why? I wouldn't be happy drawing 0 - 0 with a bunch of cockerneys next season, we should be thrashing the pants off dregs like them with our glorious team of ball carriers.

And with that comment your credibility plummets to absolute zero.
Well done the lads today. Those who were there know they worked very hard.

I've been betting on wins since the Colchester game, showing £200 plus gains but last week and this week have severely dented the pot, I'm probably going to bet on a loss against Carlisle. I'll let you know

I had no idea that credibility was a requirement or desirable asset when posting after reading your posts.
