Notts County (H) League 1 Saturday 16/2/13.
Next up the oldest club in the football league visit the Banks's , a statement that's always baffled me if true who exactly did Notts County play against .
Enough dribble lets get down to business , The Magpies sit 11th in the table on 44 points from 31 played .
Full away record
won 6 - drew 7 - lost 3 - goals for 24 against 16
Last 6 league games
Oldham - home - won 1-0
Orient - away - lost 1-2
Portsmouth - away - won 2-0
Hartlepool - away - lost 1-2
Stevenage - away - lost 0-2
Crewe - home - drew 1-1
Prediction : 2-0

We have won the last five at home, they have lost three out of the last four away [including Hartlepool] after going 12 away matches unbeaten at the start.
So, a 2-1 home win, with Westcarr coming on to score against his former club, in front of around 5,000.

Always wary of County as they have some decent players and could spring up a result, but expect another double to be completed with a hard earned 2-0 victory, Brandy and Grigg scoring infront of 5,323 (800 from county).

3-1 to THE form team in the league. Downing, Grigg and a nice Brandy to finish off with.
We'll tear em a new arsehole.

You're of a journalistic persuasion. Shouldn't this retraction be buried in 2007-8 Season Match Reports forum, font size six, in 'polar white' ink?

1-2 A Chambers.
4,784 (679 from Nottingham County)
I have successfully incorrectly predicted all my scores this season. LONG may it continue. :D

3-1 Saddlers, we will go behind early like normal and then kick it into gear and proceed to bend them over and give them a bit of the Brandy.

As well as scoring a couple it would be nice to keep a clean sheet.

Nottingham = the City of Nottingham
Nottinghamshire = the county.
Just saying :D
It's one of those nice quirks that although the 2 clubs are within spitting distance, it is actually the team named after the county based in the City and it's Forest who are technically outside the City in the middle class borough of Rushcliffe.

I think it's time for another 5-1 drubbing of the Magpies.
Brandy, Grigg, Paterson and Baxendale (2).
Att: 3,987 with 423 from Notts.

Walsall 3 v County 2 - Paterson, Brandy and Westcarr with the winner. I am convinced this is the game that Westcarr wins over the doubters.

I am open minded enough to be "won over" about the merits of Westcarr - mind you it's taking some time but I didn't go to Donny where the reports on him were very good.
I hope you are right but Westcarr and goal scoring are oxymorons (to nick a phrase someone used yesterday).

Still a 2-1 win tomorrow [Grigg, Westcarr], despite the Manager of the Month 'curse', in front of 5,045.
