Purkiss - 8 - Solid in defence and got forward well. Cracking cross for Downing's goal.

Chambers - 9 - My MOTM, superb performance, he was everywhere, rarely wasted a pass, broke up play well and got all over the pitch.

Except it was Chambers who put the ball back into the box for Downing's goal not Purkiss - so even more of a MOTM performance from him? :)

Was a good job we scored then though as came in follow up to a free kick that the ref blew a bit too quickly for as Brandy would have been clean through despite the foul on him if he'd have waited a couple of seconds to check if any advantage.

Cully, there are usually 3 or 4 pags max when we win and up to 10 when we lose :lol: 8 pages of "Smith out" and 2 of reasoned comments!!
