2-1 to the mighty Saddlers , heralding the beginning of a crazy run of 17 matches unbeaten ...

The next 16 of which are drawn , 10 having been 2 goals up , 15 featuring last minute goals for the opposition and all 16 followed by a tweet by David Grof lamenting that nobody loves him no more :(

I think we are going to win this one, the downside being it will probably be enough to keep Smith in his job until the end of the season.

4-1 to the Saddlers, I'm even going to have a bet on it.
Deano to be given the freedom of the Borough by Bonser for turning our season around in one game, and Bonser gifts the club a rent free week to go and bring in some loan players in January from the Midland Premier league.

The encouraging news (according to a Dean Smith quote to Radio WM and reported on the BBC website) is that Florent Cuvelier is fit, and should be available for selection against Colchester. "You forget he's only 19" said Smith, adding "We've drawn four out of the last five games, and we should have won some of those. The only game I found disappointing was the defeat against Scunthorpe".

With Flo fit (and selected) I have to go for a prediction ending our winless run.

Forecast 3-1 with goals from Brandy, Paterson and Grigg.

I reallt don't know where some of the attendance guesses come from. Have these people just returned from 10 years in the Amazon rain forests?

3k (and a bit) at absolute best.

We've drawn four of the last five, correct. How many have we won of the last sixteen?

I am so confident of a return to winning ways that I have invested a whole £1.00 of my hard earned cash on a Walsall 2-1 victory. Extravagant maybe.....but thats how I roll ;)
