He's also 29 and his only spell in the football league came at Dagenham, where he scored 2 goals in 15 appearances. Even this season's new scapegoat, Will Grigg has a better record than that.

People need to accept that from time to time, players from lower down the football pyramid have their day and punch above their weight. Where's Spencer Weir-Daley these days, by the way?!

Nice change us scoring a late goal .disappointing result. an extra game we could have done without at this time of year
