Just like the amount of fans you get in every week

Congratulations, you scored a penalty that should not have been given in a million years totally against the run of play. Well done.

My brother is sat near the halfway line and text me immediately to say it was a definite penalty.

At the time the stats said possession was 60-40 to us so where does against the run of play come from?

And was 2nd goal against the run too(1 min into 2nd half)?

I'm just marvelling at your eyesight, that you could see that from 7,000 miles away. Wonderful.

Dont forget theym all backwards, so if they see 60-40 they think the larger number is 40.

From the shot count, it sounds like a good'n!

Only problem for me, is the number of goals we are conceding at the moment. 2 tonight, 2 on Saturday. We have only kept 2 clean sheets all season. With all this talk about passing the ball, keeping it on the deck and attacking play, looks like we have a bit of work to do at the back at the moment.

The rarity of clean sheets has been starting to bother me lately.

If it stays like this, is there extra time or is it straight to penalties?

Very amused at a Vale fan trying to have a pop at our attendances. I don't recall seeing a single soul in the front five rows of always (at least) 60% empty stand to the right of the hard camera at their place for as long as I can remember ie. at least 10 years.

It's worse than you think - Vale have their reserve keeper playing tonight, so we're bound to bottle it!!!

Darlow apparently saved from Chris Shuker! :D

and has just saved another from ryan burge!

and saved one from robert taylor!

but we are at 4-4 still, so means we must have missed a few as well. :?

Lost 6-5, after numerous misses.........

At one stage we had taken 7 penalties and scored from 2 of them. (So had Vale)

What a bummer. No point your keeper saving pen after pen if we can't score them ourselves! :?

2-0 up and then we lose on penalties at home to a team from the basement division. And this, after two home league defeats in a row. Not a good week.

We need to get back on track at the New Gay on Sunday.

PS - was our last win on pens against Bristol Rovers in 98-99? I think Bjarni Larusson scored the decider.
