Think we will bounce back and set it up nicely for the long awaited trip to Welshland with a 2-1 win. Romp into the lead then concede late just to make it interesting

I'll go for 2-1 Grigg and Bowerman 4000 exactly with 600 from the lakes.

A comfortable 3-1 win, much to the disappointment of stay aways and resigned fans.

A 2-1 win, in front of 3,944, with 463 from Cumbria.
Grigg and Bowerman score in the same match for the first time this season.

I agree with your score-line, and very much hope we are both right, but I have to say that your comments that stayaways would be disappointed by us winning are both inflammatory and, more importantly, blatantly incorrect.
As a stayaway myself, I am delighted by our excellent start to this season, and long may it continue.

4-1 to us.
Flo to open the scoring, before Grigg proves me and everyone else wrong by netting a brace, before being replaced by Brandy who applies the cherry to the cake.
Groff in goal please!

Re: Carlisle United (H) League 1 Saturday 6/10/12/
I've just returned to the UK after a spell living abroad, so have only caught the odd game here and there over the past several years when I've been back. My first game of the season today, and first since Rochdale on New Years Eve. I take it from reading the board we've improved since then!
Should be a good warm-up before the serious business of the Shrews next weekend.... I've no evidence to base this on, but I'll go for a solid 2-0 today.

A warm welcome to EvenFlow.........if we play with anything like the style that has been on show so far this season then you're in for a treat. :D

WSC asked me to do a little write up on our progress so far this season ahead of today's game. They cut the bit where I was gratuitously rude about Leeds but it's a nice bit of national coverage nonetheless.

Success built in part on unpredictability and lowered expectation. Please can no one let that cat out of the bag.
Incidentally, when did we reach the moment that even WSC starts editing out gratuitous insults towards Leeds? Modern football is rubbish.

First rule of Walsall's good start to the season? Nobody talks about Walsall's good start to the season.
WSC also cut my reference to Bradford City as "the Fatty Arbuckle of the lower leagues". A touch obtuse, perhaps, but a metaphor that I was rather pleased with. They've done a nice job with my review of Roy McDonough's book in this month's magazine though so I'm not going to moan too much.

Nothing happening yet....but Troy Deeney (remember him?) scores in the 1st minute for Watford against Middlesbrough.
Izale McLeod scores for Portsmouth at MK Dongs (now there's an unattractive game!!)
Sloppies already one down at Doncaster
