An entertaining 2-2 draw in front of 3,234, including 161 from North London.
Grigg and Baxendale for us.

Re: Leyton Orient (h) - League 1 - 02/10/2012
Many years of following the Saddlers has resulted in a bit of a Victor Meldrew "I don't believe it!!" reaction to our occasional good form. Although we're only 9 games into the season, the consistent reports of our refreshingly good football (coupled with my own observations at Bournemouth confirming those reports) still leads me to think that the bubble must surely burst - we just can't carry on producing results like these, we're Walsall after all.......
Jeez, I hope I'm hopelessly wrong and we get the better of Orient 3-0, but it's a possible reality check with a 1-1 draw.
Perhaps it's the memory of a game a couple of seasons ago...we had just (amazingly) got a precious 3 points against Southampton, and then Leyton Orient came to the Bescot and walked all over us 0-2.
Sod it, I'll go for 2-1 - ours from Bowerman and Grigg :D

Is this where I have to do a Pnethor impression and tell you "little" ones we're going to bash you 6-0 ? .. it could actually be a rarity and a half decent game between us .. I think the last one was in 89-90 when we won 3-1 at Fellows Park ! .. Our hopes basically depend on whether Martin Rowlands is fit .. if not you'll probably be going home with a stiff neck as we attempt to clear the M6 with our intricate passing game .. We're achingly slow in the centre of defence .. Chorley and Clarke have no pace at all .. Lee Cook is the most skillful and also the laziest player in League 1 rolled into one .. and Kevin Lisbie needs about 8 chances to hit the target let alone score .. I'm going for a 1-1 with 3,259 clicking the turnstiles and 138 hardy souls from East London.

Despite the fact that we should obviously be beating "teams like Orient" cos we are a mossiv club  I reckon we will be brought back down to earth either Tuesday or Saturday. Would be pleased with 4 points from the 6. Will go for 1-1 against the O's infront of 3689 and 178 hardy souls from East London

We shall see pal. I've already been swayed from my prediction of Orient scoring by having £10 on Cuvelier to score first at 14's with Coral, just because he was 8's everywhere else.

Walsall 1-1 Leyton Orient.
Symes will score after we tried hijacking his deal. Butler to equalise with 2 minutes to go.
3,014
182 from Orient.

Really looking forward to tonight - how good does that feel!!!
A solid 1-1 draw will do me.
Flo.
Disappointing crowd considering our recent form - 4,111.

I'll give you a tenner if it's that high, be 200 Orient max, can't see home support rising significantly for a Tuesday night game, be pissing down no doubt as well.

Got to recover from an early setback (again)... 0-1 down after 11 minutes :(
Elsewhere, Portsmouth are 0-1 up at Yeovil, and Scunthorpe are 1-0 ahead at home to Tranmere
(Scunthorpe's scorer?? Karl Hawley)
