W.B.A (h) 07/08/12 - Friendly

Tue Aug 07, 2012 8:04 am

Our final friendly before the competitive fixtures begin, what kind of team will we see tonight and what's the score gonna be?

I think the team that plays from the start tonight will be our starting XI give or take a couple of extra signings, and we will get beaten 4-1!

cannot believe ive just phoned up and booked a ticket. Said all along I would go due to being a West Brom bloke but the recent signings and friendly performances changed my mind and was Adam Ant that I was not going to go and be a friendly stayaway, but I succumbed and paid my £12

It's with the Mrs and her kids, so one of her daughters can be closer to her Dad. I don't particularly wanna move there, but I'll make the most of it :|

Grof; Purkiss, Stewart (Jordan), Butler, Downing; Baxendale, Cuvelier, Featherstone, A Chambers, Hemmings: Grigg.

Subs: Taundry, Brandy, Williams, Jones, Bowerman, Beorge, Benning, Morris, Walker.

Nice to see Jordan Stewart back with us, hopefully he'll sign as he'd be decent at LB and add some experience

Paterson tweeted earlier that he has an injury and is hoping to be fit for Saturday.

Used to be an old stomping ground of mine. The Wheatsheaf (Holdens) and The Marksman (Ansells) were 2 of my regular haunts. Still there?

Listening to WM Saido Berahino has scored a nice goal and has looked impressive, he was on loan at Brentford last season. Why dont we take any interested in these players? Lateef Elford Aliyu and Jake Cassidy are another couple of youngsters in this division that have gone on loan from Albion and Wolves to Bury and Tranmere. Bet both of them score more than the likes of Grigg, Bowerman and co put together.
