A thrilling 0-0.
All 64 Dingle squad players to be used.
Most of them to stand around in the centre circle talking about shoes and handbags.

saddlers v wolves
is anybody bothering? or will we be outnumbered.
good old 3.00pm kick , hopefully sunshine and a performance from brandy to get us in the mood, and a little less miserable for this season.
any takers?
the dingles are gonna bring a shed load , lets not be embarrassed now!

I won't be bothering as i'm at work until half 2 and can't be bothered rushing to get there for a half hearted, pointless friendly

It's not pointless from the team's point of view, to be fair. They need games.

Fair enough, but 12 quid for a half paced game with 40 odd players? Nah thanks.

Should be a fiver max, 2.50 for kids, free for ST Holders.
12 quid is quite frankly, laughable. Come in your thousands Wolves fans, give us some cash.

The link up offer is OK. but 12 quid if you fancy the one as an adult is scandalous.
No reason why they can't just let all ST Holders in for free or for a cheaper price, you've already paid cash for your chosen Bescot seat, unless you're like me, under 18 and got in for free.
I ain't moaning, I'm saying 12 for a friendly is mad, which is it, you can come to a league game for a couple more quid.

Re: Wolves (H) - Friendly Saturday 28th July
The players will build up their match fitness and 4,000 fools from Wolverhampton will each pay us £12 to watch their heroes beat our desperately makeshift side.
I won't be there, but I applaud the club for arranging another friendly which is about as lucrative as we could realistically get.

i know what your saying, but these two games raise a few quid for the club, the away fans are going to pay the 12 quid, home fans can shave a few quid off.it all helps.

It is a good point about thet U-18's. If I understand correctly as a ST holder you get to see the serious stuff for not, but have to pay for the practice games. A bit odd that.

This is the thing with WFC. They just are not in the real world when it comes to pricing. The price of the new kit, including shorts and socks, is frankly ridiculous. Prem teams kits are cheaper!

That's not really Walsall, that's just Football League Clubs, Prem tops have often been cheaper for years.
I know various clubs do a ST Holder discount for Friendlies, think Telford done it actually, just thought we'd do an offer for these ever boring home games.

Oh, so you think £40 is acceptable for a child's Walsall shirt do you?

Not really. Luckily, If I had a kid, I'd only have to pay £24.99 for a kid's top. It says so on the website.
Facts: straight.
