Number 15 looks okay, Cuvelier played well when he had the chance and Hemmings looked good as well as having a great opportunity to score at the end. Boring though, a little kick off by me where Wolves fans came towards us in the corner of the home stand, then got stopped by the police and kicked out. Purkiss looks a bit poor though, think his mistake led to the first goal.

Saw on the wolves forum that there saying they tried to storm the walsall end cuz of chanting about that lad who sadly died, but i didnt hear anything at all, but if a few people did sing that then its out of order.

After doing some digging I have found out the reason why it kicked off. Before it started, their was banter between both sets of supporters. The usual chants towards Wolves and the usual replies. No harm intended, both took it in good spirit. Infact, both sets of supporters were chanting the same song and cheering on Dancing Kev! However, it did kick off, and this is the reason why.

As some know, a young lad called Tom Kirwan, a dedicated Wolves fan all his life, had his life taken away from him just 6 weeks ago. He got stabbed after a night out in Wolverhampton. Tom was, at times, a member of the Wolves Youth, but this was not all the time.

Some lads in the Walsall end by the Wolves Youth were chanting 'wheres ya Tommy gone?'. I will not call these Walsall fans as from what I've been told, they are not. Apparently they were lads looking for trouble who failed to turn up to a pre-arranged fight.

I do not agree with violence but if these lads get their heads caved in at some point, good. To mock someone who has lost their life is not acceptable. It obviously riled the Wolves fans and their reaction was expected. At the time I was sitting with Sadlad and Sam (not BigSam!) and we had no idea why it kicked off, but it provided up with some much needed entertainment for 10 minutes or so.

So in my eyes the Wolves Youth did not overreact. In fact, I reckon they didnt react in the way I'd of expected. I thought they took it quiet calmly at the time. When leaving the ground, a few coppers were escorting some lads from the ground. Presumably the lads from the Walsall end.

I just hope the Walsall fans dont get labelled for this. I hope it dont give us all a bad name because as far as I am aware, these were not Walsall fans.

Also been told in the last 15 minutes that it was a mix of WBA and Walsall 'fans', the word 'fan' been used very lightly.

Saw what happened with the Wolves keeper, its the same group of lads who abuse the keeper at every single home game. This time one keeper gave some back and they did not like it. Just shows how thick that group are, offering to fight a player. Idiots that's what they are.

I heard some lads chanting about that kid who got stabbed... They were in the very last block nearest The Family Stand. Didnt take much notice at the time as i couldnt quite hear what was said. Now after hearing it was "Where's Your Tommy Gone" im almost 100% sure thats what was sung.

Also i didnt see what happened with their keeper, just saw Roger Johnson pulling him away, and as he was walking some cretin in front of me starting singing "Your Moms A F***ing Gorilla" and was making gorilla noises at him. He was also one of the people to run over to where the Wolves fans were trying to storm. Personally i dont think he was a Walsall fan. Just thing he jumped on the band wagon on a Walsall VS Wolves black country derby and was looking for trouble. If he was a Walsall fan then im ashamed and disgusted and his comments towards their keeper!

Yeah those guys were sitting right near me. I didn't understand it at the time, now I do and feel appalled to even be in the same block as them. Absolute Scunthorpe. They sung that chant quite often too.

Probably some banned Walsall fans in the mix seeing if they can get away with it in a friendly. Few Wolves in there that shouldn't have been apparently.

Bit dim some Wolves fans on their one forum as well, various unfunny comments and we're already relegated in their eyes, Sheffield Wednesday must've been close to disappearing off the face of the footballing world then when they got battered 14-0 by Alfterton.

tom died 3 weeks ago,my son knew him and was quite peed off when he heard the chant,good job his uncles got sent down last week or there could of been right shitte hit the fan,

i nearly got a right seeing to because of this, i caught on aat half time that the chanting about the laad was going on, and i knew exaqctly why the wolves lads seen fit to stand up for that lad and try sort the lads out,

after the game i went to maccies and becaause i am a young male weaaring adidas jacket and trainers i got attention of a wolves mob of around 10-15 men not boys, when in the maccies i noticed that they were piling up against the entrance and when i caught there eye i could see them gesturing to me and i gestured back as if to say 'leave it out', about 5 blokes came in ans confronted me and said, 'where the fudge are they, i replied they went off in an escort. they demanded to know who they are and i replied, there lads and your lads will know who they are. while this was happening one bloke was having to calm and stop some lads from spitting venom in my face, he said are you part of em and i replied no, and one said lets look at the picture, a wolves lad pulled out a nikon camera and got up a picture of the lads from the mentioned section, thankfully i wasnt on it, the main bloke said that doors are being kicked it once they know where they live, and told me that i was very lucky.

after this conversation i looked around to notice the place had basically watched all that unfolded and no one said or did anything.

i knew i couldnt be too dismissive of them becaause of what had been sang to them so i did unnderstand there anger, but to be honest our lads were always going to be in an escort and not left to walk the streets so waiting around the car park was abit dull by the dingles.
