I would imagine that Downing is looking on from the bench, thinking "I'm so glad I'm not part of this game" :!:
Featherstone booked, by the way...
Butler and McGoldrick both booked as well.

Apparently the ground was heavy on our Premiership training ground.

Complete JOKE.
Embarrassing
Impotent chairman
Clueless manager
Skipper is training to be a plumber. He is certainly not a leader; nor is he a footballer of Division One standard
Patterson goes on about supporting Coventry.
Can someone explain how it can get any worse?
14 games without a win.
If you are reading this Flo, join a proper football team - we don't deserve you.

If Smith had an ounce of integrity, he would offer to rip up his contract and RESIGN.

This would be Smith's sacking... But for that contract.

It's looking more and more likely that we will have to rely on other sides losing rather than us winning (winning, what's that?).
Crawley have come from behind to be currently 2-2 with the Sloppies. Hartlepool are looking virtually gone. Bury currently 0-2 down at home, etc. etc.
And as we speak, Coventry's fifth goal has just gone in

Not wishing to be picky, but I think every game could be called "biggish" at present.
Adding a bit of insult to injury, Andrew Barrowman scored for Dunfermline today...
Going for a full house, Andy Taylor booked.

It may just be that unlike the rest of the shower he actually cares about the club and a heavy defeat hurts.

Flannery O'Connor wrote in her novel 'Wiseblood': "Does one's integrity ever lie in what he is not able to do?"
I see your point about paying the mortgage; however, if he agreed to stand down, or asked the chairman to get someone else in to help him, surely this would show integrity and honesty - it is not working - the facts do not lie and we are in a 'results-based business' - it is nothing personal. Surely he would acknowledge that, when he is walking his dog, he would probably admit this to himself. I don't doubt that he works well with the youth players but the team show no teeth, no cutting edge, no strength, no bite, no height, the list goes on... In Division Two next season, it will only get worse...
Stand down Dean and pay to get a manager that can manage grown-ups.

For pity's sake man! Haven't you realised yet? If you refuse to admit anything bad is happening and keep making sarcastic comments to anybody that dares suggest otherwise then everything will be fine. It's just a matter of positive thinking.
