I thought you must be posting from the match and knew before the commentary was relayed. When it went in, I was expecting it!

Pathetic tactics and substitutions again.
The manager isn't good enough.

Have to say bad substitutions have cost us here. Had we got a front nab to hold up the ball we would of had a better chance of winning.

Furthermore, the pure lack of options on the bench attributed to the poor subs.

By 'again', presumably you mean just like the subs that helped to earn us a point at Oldham and a win at Notts County. I assume you praised Smith for those tactical changes at the time.
As a more general point - what subs should we have made?

Again means like last season.
Should have taken Grigg off with 20 mins to go when they went with 3 up top and put Baxendale in the middle to, putting Featherstone as an anchor. Surprised you couldnt see that as I'd expect a schoolboy to make that change.

We did this so many times last season, giving away 1 or 2 goal leads, bottlers!

Dean Smith has to be blamed. Played well in the first half then after Smith has done his team talk we come out playing like that. Then just like last season he doesn't make a substitution quick enough and can't change a game when it starts going badly. There is not enough experience in the team and that showed with the bench. Paterson kept giving the ball away in the 2nd half (after playing a good first half and scoring) and needed to be substituted yet Smith was just too late.
It was my first game this season due to holidays and after seeing that we will struggle yet again this season, I spent the entire time looking at their end in the second half, just waiting for Brentford to score.

The change that I was screaming out for. While we looked intermittently dangerous on the break in the 2nd half, Brentford were dominating the middle in and we were being overrun at times.
I'd have settled for a point before we started, just about even at 1/2 time as they looked dangerous every time a ball went into the box, but I was gutted at the surrender at the end. Is Grof good enough when we have Wakka on the bench? Brentford deserved the draw but that was 2 points chucked away.
On the bonus side, there were some excellent performances with either Flo or Featherstone being MOTM. Particularly impressed with Featherstone - caught in possession once but I can't remember wasting a pass all day. If he can play at this standard consistently, he's certainly as good as Mantom.

No doubt you will get slated for this just as i did by the usual clique that havent even bin to the game.
Abysmal second half totally ruined by Smiths substitutions.

Agree with points said
I'm furious at the manner of how we drew. Played too deep, silly subs and couldn't keep the ball. As soon as it went 2-2 we kept the ball.

Had a tenner on the draw at 10-1 with 20 minutes left as Saturday Night Disappointment Insurance.
Will be sending the club a cheque for £100 to put towards buying a Sodje.
You're welcome.

Sitting way too far back.....AGAIN.
Deano, if you don't buy a striker that can hold the ball up it will be the reason you lose your job. 3k people in the ground could see it today, apert from you.
