The pricing is where English football irritates me, we have all these millions (supposedly filtering down the levels..lol) but the fans never see any of it :?
Considering you can watch Bayern Munich for around 13 quid for the cheapest ticket,15 quid for Barca, Ac Milan for 14 quid etc etc, that should put things into perspective. All for less than it costs to watch Swindon.
You can watch Werder Bremen for less than it costs to get into Rushall Olympic!

All i'm saying is fans have a few beers before a game, dont moan about the travel costs to get ot a game but always moan about ticket prices.
Anyway i reckon those of you who dont go tomorrow will miss a good game we like to play football the right way on the floor as i understand you do as well we both have pace up front and with a slick pitch and good crowd it should make a cracking game and even better game if we win.
i always like going to your ground and always go in the bar at the ground and always found you lot ok.
Not you personally, you seem to have brain cells, but I have always found "you lot" a bunch of idiots. Never been to Swindon without some kind of bother. They even fancied it on a day when we won the League, and you got promoted. Have been in the Saddlers Club where they are always happy to take in away fans (more so than home fans!) and Swindon fans have been causing problems in there too.
No one probably mentioned prices at other clubs, because they were talking to you, a Swindon fan. £25 is to much for third division football, it wouldn't put me off going, but it might just some people, especially if they go as a family, a few adults, and some kids at £12 a pop, it is pricing people out of going to football. Not your problem, but it is a problem.

£25 is cack, don't excuse it.
What we're paying for is your overspend.
By the way, we paid £20 at Coventry.

Unfortunatley all clubs have a few idiots and we have our fair share and i 've had a few Walsall fans especially when we were going for promotion in that game that ended 1-1 at our place but a few idiots dont put me off as i said the majority of your fans i've always had a good chat to before games in the bar at the stadium and i can honestly say i have never seen any trouble in there when we have played you as ive been to your ground a few times.
It appears some clubs charge fans then according to who they are playing as you can buy tickets at our ground for £19 and sometimes £21 but the £25 we charge is what we were also charging in L2.
By the way all the rubbish stories about our club and in debt is total nonsense. The fact of the matter is the owner who has just sold the club to a new consortium decided in January he didnt want to put any more money in the club and employed someone to find a buyer for the club but gave him a deadline that if a buyer wasnt forthcoming within so many weeks he wasnt prepared to put more money in the club and he would put us into administration even though we had no debts it was just a case of he didnt want to put any more money in so hurridly we found a new consortium. The previous owner who was a very wealth guy has other business interests and i think he wanted to concentrate on those as opposed to owning a football club.
The previous owner also gave Di Canio a playing budget which he kept to so no one can knock Di Canio for overspending either.
It was just a case of an owner getting fed up owning a club and wanting out which can happen to any club ie if the rich russian at Bournemouth pulls out they are in the serious brown stuff as the chairman there and the russian dont get on too well as could also happen to chelsea or any of these other owners. There was alot of crap written in the papers which is why our club threathend the football league paper with court action as an article they wrote was totally fictious which the paper eventually admitted and paid the club compensation.
Weve had our fair share of problems in the past though to be fair as life at our club is always interesting when the team stasrts doing well as soething then always happens in the board room.

Whichever way you look at it, you've overspent, and in the process bost the rules in two.

I agree. Mind you, we're used to lame excuses for overspending from fans of clubs who cheat the rest of the clubs in the league: Portsmouth, Leeds, Leicester....
Pitiful. For clubs that try to compete honestly, that is.

Of course they have.
Their fans wont acknowledge it while it happens, that's the nature of fans - they'll justify it when it goes well. There were probably Pompey fans who justified their ridiculous spending in the Prem.
They'll probably even deny Di Canio is a complete prick.

Do agree really mate, if it is too much for me I just don't bother going. Nearly all League One grounds are 20+ quid to get in as an Adult, all stupidly expensive when you look at it but it ain't looking likely to lower soon. Don't agree with the barclays prices of course but will still piss my cash up the wall if I can afford.

Swindon 0 V Walsall 1 - A late goal by Westcarr after the game is dominated by Swindon. The goalie and defence play a blinder.

Hi fellow saddlers first time on the message board. Got to work today so unfortunatly can't be there but im feeling with the current form a draw is very possible, but im an optimist and fancy the game to be similar to the Doncaster game I had the privilage to attend a few weeks ago. 1-2 Grigg x2 would be my prediction.
