Just a heads up - West Midlands Police have just tweeted, saying that nearly all of our initial 500 allocation have sold out. Club has requested more tickets.

Probably get the tickets there. Won't sell out.

Yep, went to get tickets after the game today and the sold-out signs were up.
You can pay on the day in any case, but it's one of those grounds where you have to queue at a ticket office to buy a ticket before queuing at a turnstile to get in. Daft. So I thought I'd save some drinking time by getting a ticket today.
Never mind, plenty of room down there, Sheff Utd took 6,000 last week so our 1,000 will easily be accommodated.

And it is really a case of "the" pub down there unless you fancy a trek or a taxi.

Incidentally, has anyone ever been to stadium:MK on the train? It's really cheap on the train from Brum, but initial research suggests it's a bit of a nightmare getting to the ground from Milton Keynes Central.

I have, MK station is miles from the ground but it does open up some drinking options. Then it's either a taxi or you may bump into some friendly Walsall fans who will give you a lift.
Best bet is stay on the train to Bletchley which is much closer to the ground and "the" pub.

£13.50 Return from Walsall to Bletchley on London midland. Bargain.

I'm afraid that I will be giving this game a miss and won't be attending another Walsall game until the end of August/beginning of September. :D
However, I look forward to the pictures of Dean Mourinho Smith being carried shoulder high after the match and the confirmation of Alex Nicholls signing a 7 year extension to his contract.

Just looking on London Midland website an off peak return ticket, if you get yourselves down to New Street, is showing as being £13.98 for me and the boy? Is that right. Could be the train and a few beers me thinks.
Oh the score, it's about time I got one right. MK 2 Saddlers 3 9475 in attendance with 1200 saddlers.

I paid £13.50 for a return to Bletchley from Bloxwich. That is also London Midland.
Not sure about kids prices.

Just a bit of a heads up (because I'm nice like that) if there are 4 of you going on the train, buy in advance from a station and they are doing a group saver ticket which works out at £9.25 each return to Bletchley (bargain!)

Re: MK Dons (A) League 1 Saturday 5/5/12.
Was going to go to this instead of the Huddersfield game, trying to save money, so not sure if I can justify £50 on the train (with railcard!) and then a ticket, going down on my own for a 'nothing game'.
Also have the problem getting from MK Central to the ground, as I cant get home by getting train to/from Bletchley. Think I read somewhere that you can get a bus from MK Central that takes 10 minutes though, So thats an option for anyone getting to MK.
If I go, might try and get in with a U18 ticket. Dont want to give too much money to the franchise.

Good lad, you know it makes sense :D
I made sure I got my train ticket before the match last week so that if by some miracle we were already safe before MK then I had an answer when my missus said there was no point going to MK if we're already safe :D

Dont care if we win lose or draw, just gonna go down to the plastic ground and watch Walsall play a plastic team watched by plastic fans.
And they have a left back who is ginger, har har.

.... hard-earned and fully justified, who could possibly disagree? I saw him vs Tranmere and was constantly amazed at how accurately he could hold-up and target every cross onto the foot of his marker, such that not a single ball ever wasted time entering the opposition penalty area!
It takes some doing for a whole match, no doubt about it.

850 tickets sold in advance according to WMP.
Should easily surpass the 1K mark with POTD's as well.
