Have a bad feeling about the game, how often do we play well in one game, then fall to pieces in the next?
Still,Looking foward to this one, hopefully this weather carrys on until Saturday at least.

Rochdale 2-2 Walsall
Big Bazz to get Lisa Stansfield's autograph in the pub before the game, then ask everyone who she is.

The Cemetery was mentioned in the 'Rochdale' thread, 10 min walk from Spotland.

It's a fair walk from the town centre, but the town centre does offer a wider selection of pubs.
Last time I got the train there (first day of the season - Martin Butler) we got a taxi from the station which cost about a fiver. If you are going to The Cemetery the ground is a 10 minute walk from there, which means that at about 2:59 Blazing and Belgian will be in there debating whether there's time for one or two more pints.

We are usually at the talking ourselves in to going to the game stage by that time.

Re: Rochdale (A) League 1 Saturday 31/3/12.
I'm reminded of Gerard Hoffnung's examples of letters from Tyrolean landlords replying to holiday bookings:
"In the close village you can buy jolly memorials for when you pass away".
(Another, not on the subject of death, but amusing...) "There is a french widow in every bedroom, affording delightful prospects" :D
I do like to see the variety of puns above - all inter-mingling.........IGMC

Sometimes living in Manchester has its advantages.
Does anybody know if that put that was by the ground which was full of Saddlers last season is still open?

Beevers was injured in training yesterday.
Taundry not match fit after his time out with injury. I expect he'll come on for the last 20 mins or so.
