I was enjoying a discussion about classic British sports cars when it was rudely interrupted by what sounds like a cracking game of football.
Hate it when that happens.

I think all this winning and this entertaining football malarky is just an elaborate ploy by the club to try and con more people into buying early birds. Our run and the offer seem to be running in parallel.
Just you wait til the early bird offer ends, we'll go back to being cack before fighting relegation by playing hoofball again next season

Re: Sheffield United ( H) League 1 Tuesday 6/3/11.
Truly shocked  but delighted :P that we STILL came again to win it after letting the lead slip twice. Heads would have dropped a short while ago, but this shows real spirit and must be a good sign for the coming weeks. Sweet revenge indeed for SheffU's undeserved luck in the away game back in August. :)
Couldn't believe SIX minutes of stoppage time, where the hell did that come from? I had feared the worst and thought SheffU might well get a lift and take advantage of that ridiculous amount of added-time, but thankfully it went for us tonight. How important this win has turned out to be, with Scunthorpe and Yeovil both unexpectedly winning away from home tonight, and Wycombe knocking 4 in again, at home vs. Orient.
Another win for us on Saturday would be massive now, let's hope we don't waste the good work!
Praise all round for this win, well done the lads.

I will admit I was wrong. 5 games ago I thought Smith out but after tonight and that performance - I am willing to admit I was very wrong.
The team was superb. Solid at the back and very mobile. I was very impressed how we moved the ball in the second half - we stopped channel hoofing and actually used the ball.
Very very good. Lets consolidate our position with a win at home on Saturday.

Re: Sheffield United ( H) League 1 Tuesday 6/3/11.
Just got back in myself. I cant really speak ive lost me voice!
We were superb today, we now look like a good side that is beyond a relegation scrap. I think we might just pull away now. We played well, with tempo, we kept out shape and battled for every ball. We were also helped by Sheff UTD having no centre halves on the pitch.
We deserved a win, we played the best football by a mile. Both their goals came from lapses of concentration for me.
Grof - No chances with the goals but stood up well, didnt have many saves to make but when he did he looked comfortable. Our new number one.
Taundry - Solid until injured, was playing well, was actually worried when he went off, turns out i neednt be.
Butler - Arms in the air for the second goal, otherwise, a brick wall.
Lancashire - the same.
Sadler - Just a quality player.
Hurst - Best game ive seen him have in a red shirt. Another player comfortable on the ball.
Mantom - Solid game, plays the right way. He also passed to me in the crowd at the end. Great goal.
Cuvelier - Ran his socks off, a bundle of energy who also plays the right way and is comfy on the ball.
Paterson - Quiet game, runs into blind alleys. Went off injured.
Macken - MOTM by a mile, holds the ball up, knows what to do with it. Used those old legs to charge down and win the ball and cooly slot past Simonsen. Class. Anyone who cant see what this bloke brings to the team, should give up watching football, and stick to knitting.
Bowerman - Fed off scraps in the first half, but his "Natural finishing" ability let him down as he skied one that looked so easy. Looks a grafter and a decent player. works hard too.
Subs
Beevers - Had a solid game, only got skinned once or twice.
Nicholls - Great header, good game. Someone booed him when he came on. Prick.
Grigg- Had to chase and harry and for once looked like he can play football. Hopefully he will pick up some form now.
Dean Smith - His team looked organised, motivated, and we played some good stuff. Smith in.
What a difference a midfield makes.

Incredibly proud!!
Glad you have the humility daz!
As for the match what an emotional roller coaster! There were times I couldn't bare to watch and other times I thought we tore them apart!
Couple of points;
Taundry was a great loss, I hope it was precautionary rather than serious!
Was their second offside!?
6 minutes ??? I'm sorry... Is it a minute a goal now!?
Sadler's reaction to the win was heart warming!
Our midfield looked mobile for a change!
Macken was epic
WE WON !!!!!
:D :D :D :D :)
