Carlisle United (A) League 1 Saturday 21/1/12.
You want Smith out, therefore you think he's useless. Then you think we'll draw away at a near playoff team...

Goes against the grain for me to predict a Walsall defeat , no matter what I think of Smith I Don't want to see us relegated .
Anyhow Wycombe drew at Carlisle . , we have drew at Huddersfield or just call me optimistic

I think it'll be off as well, lets hope this time that we aren't halfway there like last time they called it off.I was 20 miles away from Blackpool when they called it off, but i know some were already there! Anyway if it goes ahead Carlisle 3 Walsall 1 just because Carlisle will be fresher from their postponement last time.

Unless the forecasts are wildly wrong ( !!) then it's going to start warming up again tomorrow and through to the weekend so there shuldn't be a danger of it being frozen off. I'm going up for the weekend as is my usual yearly pilgrimage after my morning game, so hoping it is well and truly on!

loads of defeatism on here, I wonder why? As if Walsall would ever be expected to LOSE an away match! the very thought of it!
Mind you, that said, we COULD support the Dingles...how bad were they on telly last night? Our reserves, fresh from thier humiliating 7-0 thrashing could have given 'em a game! Talk about dire, have any of that lot in old gold and black actually played together before?

We will lose 1-1 in a postponed match with Old Penk Saddler and myself solving all the current problems at WFC in a 2 hour discussion only to forget everything that we said cos we were bladdered. Big Baz to get attacked by same seagull as last time, only this time the seagull will bring his mates and finish the job. Baz to have to give up and go and buy some more chips.

As the feel good factor is all around the saddlers with us riding on the crest of a wave I'm making my first trip up to Carlise, I'll be wearing my undeafeted cardigan* and expect a 1-1 draw. UTS

Carlise have lost to two clubs in last 18, Sheffield United and Charlton I believe.
We have zero chance and we are going to be absolutely crushed.
Carlise 4 Walsall 0.

If the word "bollox" always come up as BETTIES, how can I seriously say "Bettie's coming for dinner"? :?

Re: Carlisle United (A) League 1 Saturday 21/1/12.
We've done well against them in recent seasons (can't recall all results but am sure we have drawn or beaten them the last 4-5 times we've played them) and I haven't seen us lose to them when I've gone there, so hoping that the record will stay intact when I am there again today! They are doing very well but I think it'll be a hard fought 1-1 draw. They are scoring goals, but also conceding them.
Just hope it stops raining!!! :?

You wouldn't - I've never seen the girl's name Bettie. You would type "Betty's coming to dinner". Better get the wife out of the house first though...
