Worst stadium music of the season goes to.. Carlisle United. Playing the Grandstand theme tune... Can hear it loud and clear over Saddlers Player!
Oh and my prediction is Carlisle 2-1 Walsall.

Carlisle 1-0 Walsall.
Sloppy play by 'Mr Reliable' Andy Butler. Tried to play his way out of danger and gets caught out, says Saddlers Player.
They're all over us, hit the crossbar too in the first 4 minutes..

As Yeovil have just equalised at Bury, we have dropped into the relegation bottom four :(

We are going down.
Cannot believe there has been no investment in January so far. We can all see what is wrong, so WHY are we not doing anything about it?

Ask the club owner.........
edit - we're back above the line, as Bury take a 2-1 lead against Yeovil Town. :D

Re: Carlisle United (A) League 1 Saturday 21/1/12.
Half time and we're 1-0 down. I know I'm only following the game on the BBC website, but there has been no mention whatever of Macken or Nicholls - we've had shots on and off goal by Paterson and Taundry, and also the only 2 corners of the game so far both went to us. Isn't it time to bring Bowerman on for 45 minutes - we have nothing to lose at this stage.
Elsewhere, Barrowman scores for Dunfermline at Kilmarnock. The Baggies are 0-1 ahead at Sjoke, and Dingles are 2-1 ahead at home to Vile. Oh, and Blues 1-0 against Watford.

Just got back in from a day in the Trafford centre, (lots of pretty young things about the place again), to find weem losin again, now aint that unusual! :(
From the look of the BBC report theym all over us like a rash, so can't expect it to stay 1-0 for very long, if it had been 1-1 with possession 50/50, would expect it to stay that way..but now can't see better than a 2/3-0 defeat I'm afraid.

Only crumb of comfort on the horizon is that Exeter are being dragged down into the relegation zone with us, can't see them avoiding defeat at Oldham, if so. that would be slightly better for us. Desperate times when we are relying on the discomfort of others for our ultimate survival, cus we certainly ain't doin much to improve the situation! :(

Re: Carlisle United (A) League 1 Saturday 21/1/12.
I'm listening on Saddlers Player so my view of it obviously isn't as good as someone there, but, it sounds as if in the opening 10 minutes it was all Carlisle, hit the crossbar early on, scored an early goal too. Then we seemed to wake up, Patterson and Taundry having shots within quick timing of each other, Carlisle goalkeeper didn't do a job with either of them, spilt them both and has since gone on to make a mess out of another Patterson shot so hopefully he can spill a few more and we can grab a goal. Carlisle since hit the bar again.. Since the goal though I don't think there's been any major chances..
That's what I made of the commentary anyway!
Oh, I also text them with my concern over signings (lack of), the reply I expected though.. Smith is at games looking at a few players, he has others at games too and has one or two players in mind. Still, that's what is always being said, just like the same old Jeff Boner quote that 'the manager has money to spend' rubbish.

What with, I think is the answer to that conundrum, I've got about £5 stashed away, would that help us sign a one legged
dwarf from Stotherts Pit Athletic!
As I've said before, Deano thinks that what we have will save us..........................Yeah!

Thanks Welsh, following the Sads on here, rather than Sky or Beeb, whilst flicking between Fulham/Newcastle and Everton/Blackburn so as to avoid the scores of the above games which are being shown in full later.
Think I'll go out drinking instead now.... especially if the 2nd half at Brunton pans out as expected.

I suppose that's an improvement on what Hutchings would have done (89th minute  )

Re: Carlisle United (A) League 1 Saturday 21/1/12.
Jarvis on for Peterlin.
Andy Butler booked
Sjoke missed a penalty    Dingles now 2-2 with Vile, Blues 2-0 against Watford.
In the games potentially affecting us, Rochdale are now 3-0 down at Wycombe, Yeovil 3-1 down at Bury. Chesterfield and Scunthorpe both winning, Exeter drawing.
