Bury isn't in Manchester, despite what Bury-born uberManc Gary Neville would like us to believe, Duke.
Bury's in...erm... Bury.

Apologies to my fellow Saddlers and the good people of Bury.
Always annoys me when I hear folk say Walsall is in Birmingham

1-1 with Butler scoring a last gasp equaliser: time we had one rather than opponents. 452 Saddlers

I shall be in attendance for this one. My first away game since Rochdale in the JPT so looking forward to it. Going for a sneaky 1-0 victory, Nicholls to score. 300 Saddlers in attendance

Re: Bury (A) League 1 Monday 2/1/12.
Looking forward to this one for a number of reasons, I would love us to win this one just to wipe the insane smile off the face of that moronic Bury twit posting on our site about how great they were, and how crud we were, (true though the second part may have been!) Secondly I should be able to make this one as it's just over the Pennines on the M62 for me.
Also hope top meet a few more UTS'ers.
And yes, they are in the Manchester conurbation. possessing a Manchester post code,( at least we have our own!) It's a straight drive from thier ground right into Manchester city centre, via Ancoats, the Jewish quarter.
Regrettably I think they may do the double on us, they are playing well, have some goalscoring strikers, and swept Scunny aside on Boxing day with ease.
2-0 to 'em....pleeeese prove me wrong you Reds!!!!

Looking forward to this one too,
Must have been to Bury a dozen times + and it is always a great day.
Fancy a 1-1 draw, probably in the same style as Chesterfield, do all the hard work, and throw it away at the end.

Im with ya on this one pal.........he wound me up beyond belief and if I was Deano I would be printing copies of his post and getting the players to read it before the game. If that dont get'em up for it, particularly after yesterdays shambles then nothing will.
Got a feeling the lads will turn this one; 2-1 win to WFC :)

1-0 Walsall with Nicholls scoring the winner. 3464 to witness another defensive masterclass.
One lucky Bury publican to celebrate the new year in style after a visit from Blazing Saddler :D

Cant scrape together enough pennies to get myself there today, which is a shame because I've never been to Bury before.
I'll say 2-2, Macken and Grigg to score. 4500 there, 400 walsall fans, 200 FC Utd fans going to the wrong game too.

No Manny Smith today, suspended for 5 yellows apparently. Assume that'll mean a back four of Westlake - Butler - Beevers - Sadler.

Decent enough back four still, at least we're strong in that area...

Starting line-up against Bury today:
Walker
Westlake
Sadler
Butler
Beevers
Chambers
Peterlin
Halliday
Jarvis
Paterson
Nicholls
Subs: Grof, Taundry, Gnakpa, Hurst, Macken.
Still no place for Grigg, and Macken tired from his exertions against Rochdale?

Jarvis on the wing? Nice to see Halliday starting too, wondered why we signed the lad.

Nah. It'll be Nicholls on the wing, Jarvis will wander round the penalty box.
