Shots on target by the magnificent Saddlers after 20 minutes? Big fat zero! :(

(Just to tempt fate...) - Half an hour gone and we're not losing!!! (Unlike the Dingles, who are already 2-0 down at Chelski, which should please Sheff!!)

Tricky time of the game coming up now - we seem to concede far too often in the dying minutes of the first half.....

Other teams are doing their best to help us - Chesterfield have lost, and Wycombe, Scunthorpe, Rochdale and Orient are all losing :D

(Just as I write that, Scunthorpe equalise at Notts County  )

they have taken a player who use to play for my football club from the baggies on loan and hes scored already for them, not sure of his name though.
it amazes me that with the gap widenin between us and our neighbours why we dont use some of their younger players who will i would imagine be capable to compete at this level if there seriously looking to break into their parent clubs first team.

Probably because it would cost some money, and uncle Jef aye too happy a bunny when it comes to extra expense when we are slipping into inevitable relegation.

Half-time 0-0, which I would gladly take at 90 minutes.

Stevenage seem to be quite a physical side, having committed 10 fouls to our 5
This could be another Huddersfield-type result (hopefully)

Plymouth now thumping Northampton 4-0 before half-time

Positives:

We're not losing.

They sell chips.

Negatives:

Everything else.

It is 4-3-3 by the way.

why not get capable players from our neighbouring clubs who can cover are short comings with OUR squad, for e.g. were screaming out for a speedy centre foward to give us another dimension and a quality finisher like saido berahino, i know nicholls and bowerman are starting to step up so im happy for them to carry on, but im just saying ledesma and cook surley would have been alot more expensive than theese local younguns

Please let Huddersfield get mullered at Charlton on Monday night, and my weekend would be complete, whatever our
result, sorry, whatever the score in our latest defeat.

It's what I thought, but Sky's formation's all over the place today, it's got our team like this;

Walker

(right to left)

Sadler
Lancashire
Beevers
Taundry (LeftBack  )

Nicholls
Smith
Wilson
Chambers

Grigg
Macken

..... and I thought Hutchings' tactics were bad, SSN out :!:

With 5 minutes to go, the BBC website sees it like this:

Attempts ON target - Stevenage 5 Walsall 1
Attempts OFF target - Stevenage 7 Walsall 3
Corners - Stevenage 5 Walsall 2
Fouls - Stevenage 16 Walsall 10

(Attendance 3,140)
