We've picked up unexpected results at Carrow Road and Elland Road in recent seasons. I think we'll win this one 1-0.

A shattering, season-ending 4-1 reverse, but unsure who to.
A container lorry of apple pies to be misdelivered by Nobert Dentresangle to the away end on 57 minutes, resulting in hot-tards.

Correct. They hadn't lost at home in the league for about a year and a half, I think. What a great night that was. Emergency right back Matt Richards had Max Gradel in his pocket and the little pocket of Lers in the far corner made a right racket. The kind of night, in fact, that makes you remember why you bother going to a game that you are 99% certain you will lose. And that's why I'll be there on Saturday.

3-2 Walsall with a fireworks and bonfire display in the away end laid on by Jeff Bonser. Toffee apples £27 each to pay for it.

If we win this one, I would join a Diwali parade, Chester! I'd have to be VERY drunk though, and hide my BNP membership card!! :) :)
I'm with Sheff, anyone that predicts anything other than an embarrassing tonking outa this one, needs sectioning!!
I'll be there, head in hands, suffering to the very end....as usual....... :( :(

Moaner, as you live amongst the Northern hordes you of all people should appreciate the fact that Huddersfield are having money chucked at them by Hoyle, their budget is massive for this league.

I also work with 7 fervent Huddersfield fans, Monday morning is going to be a nightmare!
Only consolation is that the in house betting pay ludicrous odds, if Sheffs prediction is correct I will win enough to pay for the entrance fee, couple of bottles off pop, and a night out for me and the missus!! Not that I would EVER bet against my own team of course!!!

It's difficult to see us come away with anything from this game let alone a win! It would have to be a monumental performance to even get a point...
So 3-0 Walsall? :D

Hmmm...I see a sizable number of you think your lads will end our unbeaten run, which I find encouraging believe it or not because when opposing fans say we'll batter their team, the opposite usually happens!
Let's face it if it goes to form we (Terriers) should run out comfortable winners - Yes? However, as some of you have pointed out we will lose at some stage, the point is, will it be to Walsall tomorrow? I have to say the speculation surrounding Lee Clark and the Leicester City managerial vacancy this week might well have created some unrest, so maybe it's a good time to play us! Couple that with two pretty average performances away from home in the last fortnight then yeah...you just might be on to something! If you're capable of unsettling our passing game by focussing and sticking to the task, pressing defenders high and packing midfield then I admit you could cause an upset.
All of that said, it's only right to comment you'll have to play very very well to beat us. We're strong all over the pitch. Our defending as a team is massively improved on last season, midfield is quick to win the ball back and supply the killer ball and our forwards are all in superb form, not least Jordan Rhodes who's on fire. We're physically fit and keep going until the end of the 90+ minutes. If I'm totally honest, you don't have a cat in hells chance of beating us but if you do manage to achieve the unthinkable I'll be the first to congratulate you!
See you all tomorrow - safe journey etc.

Every season for roughly the past 3 seasons we've had a guest from Huddersfield register with us, and each time they've banged on about how strong their team is. While it's universally recognised that Huddersfield's budget has been among the biggest in League One for some time now, you've still failed to get promoted. My questions are twofold:
1) Do you feel the need to prove yourselves with posts rather than promotions?
2) If so, why to supporters of a team who don't have a 'cat in Hell's chance' of beating yours?

I'm sorry mate, I seem to have offended you, that certainly wasn't my intention. I was actual just saying what I feel about our team - just my little old view point!
But since you ask -
1) Do you feel the need to prove yourselves with posts rather than promotions? - No promotion would be much better than a war of words with Walsall fans!
2) If so, why to supporters of a team who don't have a 'cat in Hell's chance' of beating yours? - Again, I was merely offering an opinion! Actually I thought I was being rather brave because at 4.55pm on Saturday I could have egg on my face big style if it goes tits up for us!
Take it easy mate!

There's no need to keep apologising, of course you're entitled to your opinion, and one thing I ain't is offended. I just can't let opposition fans come on here, all front, without returning fire.
