3,855 ????? I don't think there's a hope in hell of a crowd that size, nearer 3,100 - 3,200 IMHO.

If we get 3,855 or more, I think I'll donate £20 to your favourite charity, or the Air Ambulance.

It'll be closer to 3.8K, Carlisle will bring a 500 or so and the weathers gonna be nice, which seems to attract a few more fans.

3,100-3,200 would be absolutely appalling even with our position and performances....

But much closer to reality, given the appathy of our 'supporters' that we have debated about recently, coupled with good weather being a goad to wives/girlfriends wanting a day out in the sun that does not include an afternoon at the Bezza! :(

What mug listens to their wife/girlfriend? :D

Mugs who like to keep all their bits intact, maybe? :?

It would be 3,100-3,200 without any away fans, gw. However, even in their current form I expect Carlisle to bring 600+ so I don't expect to be far off.

Lets wait and see

Right, the bet is drawn up. Attendance of 3855 or more, Geoff gives £20 to favourite charity of BS.

Yes indeed. Might even be worth losing for a good cause, but I still can't see it, even if there are 500-600 from Cumbria. :?

If we don't win this one, I may have to bin my Ginger Mourinho t-shirt.

Not that anyone understands it in HK!

At best it'll be Saddlers World for me, SS, unless the wife decides we need to go out somewhere ( Mr Vader will probably like that one  ).

I don't expect us to win, so I am :(
So if we do, I'll be :D
I am a terrible forecaster (I cannot bring myself to predict a Walsall defeat) so I won't bother.

At least started brighter today than in previous games with more shots on and off target.

Early second half pressure - 1-1 :(

Nicholls now on in pace of Hurst (who had been booked, btw)

Never mind I've got my Sky TV HD package set up this afternoon, so I can watch all the usual repeats in HD!

We appear to be hanging on according to the commentary on Sadsworld. Walker and some poor finishing keeping us level at the minute.

Really did not think I would be saying or thinking this a few months ago - but Deano has to turn it round in the next few games or else he will have to go...

But there is still part of me that says it is the board's fault - but this is a side that Deano has assembled so ultimately he has to be judged by the results.

O'Driscoll and O'kelly anyone?

Thank God for Wacka AGAIN!
We desperately need to inject some pace up front Grigg & Jarvis are just too slow, one moment epitomised this when Nicholls went on a run to the by-line and looked up to find both our strikers casually jogging to keep up….
If Gnapka is fit next week I’d play him up front as he has pace & aerial ability which our front two lack so badly

Jesus, given the reactions on here, we deserve to be in the Div of death for fan support alone.

We played fairly well in the 1st half and deserved to be one up against a team who'd taken 10 points from 5 games away this season. Lancashire and Smith had their really good front 2 well covered.

Second half, they changed formation and our "defence" seemed to have opted out. They banged in an equaliser from a non-existent free kick and frankly wacka was our motm for keeping them out for the rest of the 2nd half. However, we could easily have nicked it in the last few minutes, then would there have been all of the doom and gloom? A point was fair overall against a top 10 team.

What hacks me off is the anti-Smith stuff on here. I've no definite opinion on whether he is a good or just adequate manager, but he's incomparably better than the cack we've had since mr happy. He's got a budget based on sub-4k gates, a phallus of an absentee owner who just wants to extract his pieces of silver every year so what the **** do you expect. Given the above, we need some managerial stability!!!!

We were OK in the first half, scored a good set-piece goal, Paterson's performance was a huge plus. Unfortunately for a lot of the second half it was like watching us under Hutchings, we were completely overwhelmed at times but fortunately Walker kept us in it. We must get better, soon, if this isn't going to be another miserable season.

Meh is the only way to describe that. Wacka and some poor finishing preserved us that point. Spectacular save from one header in the second half in particular. Can't honestly remember a team so devoid of basic attacking ability. Taundry was back to his horrific best with some woeful passing and turning into blind alleys, Grigg looks low confidence next to anyone bar Macken. Hurst works hard but its just too slow to be a any kind of effective winger.

Why do we consistently hoof the ball when we dont win a single header against any centre backs, any game of any season? Its aimless, pointless, direction-less and brings nothing in the way of goalscoring opportunities.

We have one of if not the poorest attack in the whole division.

Ryan Jarvis is no-joke, 10x's worse than Carneiro, Parkin and Liam Dickinson. Truly, utterly, carthorse esque-pathetically, contract scammingly woeful.

Can we have Julian Gray, Jordan Cook, Emmanuel Ledesma and Matt Richards back please.

I'll probably get ripped for this comment badly. But we lack in the middle of the park, precisely what richards gave us. A not spectacular, but composed figure on the ball, even if its just to play a 10 yard pass. Chambers and Taundry are hardworkers but lack ball skills.

I fear playing a team with an ounce of ability.
