3-1 Saddlers. Macken, Jarvis & Butler. Marvelous Marvin Morgan for the Sloppies.
Matt Richards won't feature and Mark Wright will miss an open goal in front of the Alsop.
4,124 (1,013)

Sloppies 0-2 Saddlers
belge to be run over by a tractor but attend the game in the disabled section as his stumped legs bleed all over the concrete and cause Matt Richards to slip over and crack his bonce while warming up from the subs bench.

Wasn't gonna bother with this.... but may do now after Saturdays performance. Suspect he will change the team a little, but hoping for a similar performance and the sloppies to trudge back up the A5 with nowt.

Walsall 3, Shrewsbury 1 with goals from Butler, Hurst and Gnapka.
3,462 with 318 sloppies.
Shrewsbury to slope off back over the border with only the League Cup, play off disappointment and derbies against Flexys Cefn Druids to look forward to

I hope we smash them 5 nil.
Realistically i'll go for Walsall 2 - 1 Shrewsbury
Hurst and an own goal for us, Morgan for them. Mark Wright to put a couple of good crosses in resulting in a mass debate on how he is the best player we ever had blah blah. Matt Richards to have a very shiny head.

It seems Turner wants to rest some players, so, I would have thought, Mark Wright would be one.

Since when has it been a city? It's a slum with wool wearing pikeys who will claim that their caravan was actually parked in England when they were born.

From the front page - "the competition is also something of a distraction from the real business of the League"
I'd be interested in others views, but I couldn't care less about the league. I'm more than happy to be distracted from mid-table mediocrity. It's the cup runs that used to be the funnest part of being a Saddler. Anyone remember them?

No, sorry, Belge, but the TOWN of Shrewsbury is actually very attractive ... but if you're talking about the inbred inhabitants, then that's a different matter.
Incidentally, the Sloppies describe Saddlers fans as pikeys, depicting us as low-life caravan-dwellers. Well, at least our family trees aren't vertical trunks! :D

Shrewsbury should be eliminated. No ifs, buts or maybes.
Do a raindance, let the wave of joyous destruction wash over them.
Intern the inhabitants on pylon cables.

I like Shrewsbury but it does suffer from a desperate lack of first division restaurants.

2-1 to the Saddlers and a mass ejeculation of venom into the face of Wright as Taundry bites off a Richards' ear.
Shrewsbury should be liquated so comprehensively that in 1000 years, they still refer to it as 'Evisceration Day' and small, frightened children of Chinese origin are taught about it on Mars.

No excuses tonight. Virtually full strength team against a weaker, lower divison opponent. I will be very disappointed if we don't win tonight.
That said, I am going for 2-0 to the mighty saddlers.
