I'd forgotten that they beat Huddersfield,( well before Hudds recent decline in form)
If we play like we did in the first half at Bury it will be 0-2
If we play like we did in the second half? 2-2
3,655 hearty souls (about 250 from the coast) To watch another nail in the coffin of relegation.
If we cor get an 'Amoo' from somewhere to knock in a few goals we're all but doomed..note that Rochdale are making appropriate inroads..why cor we?

2-1 Bournemouth anyways...4,123 (512 Cherries, always seem to bring decent followings to the Bezza).

Because according to Deano it's nothing to do with the players, it's the pitch and sub standard refereeing.

2-1 to the Cherries by the way late Bowerman consolation goal.

1-2 Gnakka (89) for us and Pitch (23) and Sub-standard refereeing (27) for them.

3423 with 407 from them

i dont think DS will include bowerman!! he didnt include him on saturday which i thought was a joke, he is our only natural goalscorer at the club and we were struggling for a goal on saturday against bury and we didnt have anybody on the bench who could come on and change the game.

i can not belive DS started with Jarvis upfront he just bottled giving Bowerman he first start of the season, he has tried everbody else in the squad up there with surficant amount of games, now i think mr Smith it is time you gave this lad a chance? his goal record speaks for its self he has scored lots of goals for the reserves and 2 for the first team in prob 120mins of football say no more!!!!!!

Our other so called strikers goal rates are

JARVIS 9 STARTS 11 SUB 2 GOALS
MACKEN 21 STARTS 1 SUB 5 GOALS
GRIGG 14 STARTS 7 SUB 3 GOALS
PATTERSON 13 STARTS 4 SUB 2 GOALS
NICHOLLS 17 STARTS 11 SUB 5 GOALS

DS i think Bowerman has scored more goals granted including reserves and pre season than all the above put together this season?

grow a pair and give the lad a chance or you just going to keep playing the same old playeres week in week out and keep getting the same results, the lad needs to be on from the start when walsall are creating chances not 10 min from the end when all our players legas have gone???

Walsall 1 Bournemouth 0

Dean Smith to hand the linesemen 50 pence peices in an attempt to teach them the offside rule.

I'm not in the business of predicting us to lose, I can always be optimistic before a game, obviously afterwards I can come back down to earth

This one worries me. They haven't lost away since September 3rd, and have won four of last five away league games. Although they did get battered 6-0 by Brentford in the JPT.

To put it in perspective, they're 10 points above us in the league and have a worse home record than us

Would take a draw if it was offered now.

Not sure whether I'm surprised by this move or not. Would have hoped to see Gnakpa start though after what happened at Bury on Monday. If we play hoofball again up to Macken, Nicholls and Paterson, the outcome won't be that much different. Hopefully as macken is back in, we might play it into feet more.

Grigg on the bench, but no Bowerman...is he injured?
Dear me, Taundry in the side and Grigg on the bench..is he utterly tactically inept?

Both goals coming from Taundry crosses.

I just hope that the lads get something approaching a proper team-talk at half time so that there's no repeat of earlier games, where the second half has been hugely disappointing.

It's something of a rarity for us to even HAVE a 2-0 lead, isn't it?

Is that a 'Sheff' FACT? we have a squad?
Couldn't care a jot at present weem 2-0 up, if we can hold on this could be one of the most important 3 points in our relegation battle!! :) :)
Despite the vile rhetoric on this site about our performance at Bury, I still insist we put in a 'good' performance, and were beaten by an Amoo, and our inability to put the ball in the back of the net!
