a minutes applause if we had to, celebrate their life rather than mourn, as you say its up to his family. ollie was a legend and will always be. i really cant believe this. never forget you mate.

Like others - I have only got to know Oli in recent months since the last UTS night out, he was kind enough to give me a lift home. Bumped into him a few times since, really top bloke. My thoughts go out to his family and those who knew him better than me. I am upset by this, heaven knows how they feel. RIP the tall one.

Puts life and petty arguements into perspective.

With sympathy to his family.

I never met Joly, but people have always spoke well of him.

UTS is like a community, and it is devastating to lose a member of our community.

It don't half mate. You just don't know. What a waste.

As I keep saying, I hardly knew him, but I'm struggling to keep my mind on anything else at the moment.

And how you shouldn't waste a moment of it.

It's odd and I've just mentioned it to Rich but just a couple of Sundays ago I said to Oli that he needs to slow down a bit. Going to the gym every day and playing football most days can't be good for you.

I was thinking the same about the online "Community" business. Most of us didn't know him that well - but it hurts like you did - major difference online is you can't give your pals a hug :(

I for one will be having a minutes silence on Saturday for a really genuine bloke. It has sent shivers down my spine and I feel pig sick. I met Joly through a friend and we played footie together on Sundays, spoke to him at Walsall matches especially Chesterfield away and more recently Colchester and Tranmere. I cant believe what I have heard today and I dont think I ever will. We have lost a truly super saddler.
Words cannot describe feelings and emotions now.
I keep saying it but I am shocked.
23 is no fudge age!! He had his whole life in front of him.
Life is too short and should savour every moment, I will be giving my loved ones a hug tonight and raise a glass to Oli.

God Bless Mate
R.I.P Joly.

I only knew him from off the message board and therefore don't personally know him, despite that people on the board always speak highly of him- this news has shocked and devastated and as Zippy said "UTS is like a community, and it is devastating to lose a member of our community"

RIP

Joly

He was a truly unique fella. He amazed me with his friendlyness, and openness to all people - indeed I tried to learn from his personality, the way he was friends with so many people, his ability to meet new people - he was completely non-judgemental of people, which in this day and age is a truely superb assett to have.

In terms of the fans, I think Joly would appreciate something a bit more lively, if you know what I mean.

Thats exactly what made me feel that I had known him for longer than I actually did, and why I am so upset now.
