I'll settle for that. Well done the lads.

Attendance 8,923, of which approximately 8,500 will be plastic.

Edit - 728 Saddlers in Milton Keynes tonight, meaning precisely 8,195 plastics.

Not bad....on page 5 and the game hasn't finished yet :)

Games over now so we'll move from arguing about the number of loanees, past nun perversions and onto the real nitty gritty of whether or not a cheese on toast snack should have onions on it as all the keyboard warriors here get the nibbles.

Oh - and someone will post from their mobile telling us what a great game we missed.

Have we made a new signing?

MKDONS 'Inside a minute the Dons had a great opportunity to stamp their mark on the game when Daniel Powell's awkward touch on a cross from the left of the box proved to fall in the favour of Sam Baldock, but the forward's shot lacked the power to cause Jimmy Smith any real problems.' MKDONS

It is when we have played 3 more games than most.

To be honest where we were at Christmas, if someone said we would still have a chance (even now) I would have snapped their hands off.

Looking at the brief highlights on Sky Sports News: the penalty was harsh since Smith won the ball, but it was foolish of him to make that tackle in the box.

They missed a sitter when Balanta hit the underside of the bar from one yard out, and then the ball appeared to rebound just on the wrong side of the goal line.

Fantastic support from Walsall today, created a cracking atmosphere compared to the dire Mk fans who were awful!

We played alright, lucky not to lose in the end, but then again we could have sneaked a win if we took our chances. They hit the crossbar from 2 yards out which looked like an open goal!

I am not going to rate every player, but i believed tonight nearly all players gave 100% and it is clear to see that they do want to stay up, and that they are fighting for it. Credit to Deano for that.

Oh, and just to mention for the "fan" behind me. Shouting abuse at both Richards and Byfield will not make them play better. We need to support the lads, and if you are only their to slag them off every time they touch the ball dont bother coming.

I said i would take a point, got my prediction of 1-1 correct. Now for a 2 week break for Deano to get the boys rested and ready for Plymouth.

Back to the land of character, real people, real fans, coming out of their ground was like coming out of the cinema, or bowling on a friday night - totally fake.

Great support tonight, i would guess round 600, good for a night game - plenty of old faces, was a bit like the old days, stay up or go down, now hutchings has gone, i hope a bit of belief and enthusiam from the fans comes back, looks like it was tonight, the away games are always the best memories.

To the game - played much better than at Yeovil, they all put a proper shift in, richards didn't stop trying, gray had one of the best games i have seen him play - we were actually pushing foward on to them, passing in general was good, at times we tried a bit to be a bit too clever, byfield didn't have one of his best nights, but at the end of the day i'm happy with a point and we thoroughly deserved it.

Tell you what, people can say what they like about Walsall, but i would support us every single day of the week, than be a fan of that fake turnout of a football club, which is more like going to an american baseball game, where the supporters don't really know anything about football, totally wierd

Roll on Plymouth

Decent game, Gray played an absolute blinder, brilliant support from the Saddlers faithful, a draw to a team which has won 5 on the trot. Good result!

BTW, how quite were the 8,000+ Dons fans, soulless doesn't even come close...

fantastic support, carnt believe that 700 walsall fans where present, it was hard to start a song off because as soon as one finished you was fighting to be heard aongst 3 others starting a song off.

before the game there was some great singing in their bar inside the ground and when one step beyond got going it got abit manic and the beer was spalshing everywhere, wasnt alot of beer lost but to everyones frustration mk stewards felt our behaviour was not the norm so decided not to open he bar for half time drinks.

hot food was sold out very earl,y i would say its worst then the bezza in that department.

i will let others fill you in about the match but, im sure all who came had a great time and will have loved the atmosphere

Good solid all round performance from the team with the emphisis being on 'Team'. Little shakey at first when the Franchise had a couple of good chances, mainly due to our defence looking more than a little static, we just don't tackle or challenge but back away leaving too much space for their players to move into or pass. Guilty parties being Westlake and Williams who look very average at best leaving the bulk of the work to the commanding Butler and the improving Smith.

The goal came after a number of speculative shots, a couple by Ledesma and the impressive Gbarssin before Richards hit home a rebound from the keeper after a Gray shot :D
It was looking good for the Saddlers, Matt Richards at the start, middle and end of most of our moves, back to his best after a few below par performances over the last couple of weeks helped by Gbrassin and the debudant Laird who looked a little bit off the pace at the start of the game.

Second half started off the same way the first half finished, end to end stuff until the referee decided that Manny Smiths tackle on Chadwick, which won the ball'! was a penalty
[I'll better reserve judgement until I've seen the replay on tv], some great passing moves from the Saddlers but disappointingly always ending with either no one to take advantage in the box or the ball carelessly given away when it seemed easier to shoot or cross the ball.

The end to end game continued with both sides having good chances, Walker denying them a couple of times, and both sides hitting the bar. If there was a player who didn't quite seem to be able to get into the game it was Byfield who ended up being subbed. Jordan Cook showed some obvious quality, will undoubtedly prove to be vital signing who looks like he is capable of scoring a few goals.

Thank god Hutchings has gone, Dean Smith has turned our season around and we've got a good chance of staying up especially with performances like this.

UTS, I love it when we play well :D
