It's 7 points now. That's more than two clear wins. Dire.

Oh no.
It makes our next 2 games against relegation opposition VERY important indeed if results stay as they are..

Ironically, Mick Kearns just said that we should only be concerned about what we can control and not worry about other teams results - presumably he is referring to next weeks menu.

Nicholls' shot as weak as a back pass to the goalkeeper says Mick Kearns...
The real Alex Nicholls has come out for the 2nd half then.

The BBC agrees with you - in the first half we had 63% possession against Posh's 37%. It's currently 54% Posh and 46% Walsall.

Are we sitting back defending a 1-1 scoreline?

Anyway, we're well ahead in the fouls department - leading 10 to 3 !!!

Just as an aside, Matt Fryatt has scored to put Hull 1-2 up at Portsmouth.

Tranmere are living the life of luxury - not content with being 1-0 up at home to Carlisle, they've managed to miss two penalties

The problem is, with other relegation rivals winning, and being 7 points adrift (plus goal difference), we can't afford to sit back and take a 1-1. :?

EDIT: make that now 8 points adrift thanks to CMS second goal.

No great surprise there. Losing yet again.

Hopefully Hutchings can occupy his time after he's been sacked by watching his DVD collection to figure out where it all went wrong!

The question isn't if we go down but what date we are down by!

8 points from safety...

Really hope we don't set a lowest points gained over a season record.

We are going down, with Dogface and co, he will take us down to the Conference.

We are now 9 POINTS from safety, taking into account our desperate goal difference. Relegation looms ever closer :(

Although we have had a couple of chances in the second half, their goal was always looking likely given the balance of play.

You know i'm actually happier at 2-1 than 1-1 as it gives me the faintest hope that we may be nearer the end of Hutchings.

How sad is that? I've never felt like that with any other Walsall team ever.

We may as well be 90 points from safety as 9.

73rd minute, and Peterborough make a substitution.

Of course it's far too early for our management team to contemplate any kind of similar action, isn't it?
