Really? If I were Huddersfield fan, I'd still fancy my chances against us even with 10 men.

Every time I listen to Hutchins being interviewed all he ever talks about is 'working hard to get players in'....................is that his answer to everything! On paper this team is not relegation material, surely he should be concentrating on getting the players he has to work as a team.

We appear to have started with a 5 man defence and their centre forward has been sent off.

Any chance we will take a defender off and put another forward on?

Mmm. Changing a formation from 4-5-1 set up to defend to something designed to get a result against ten men would require the sort of basic tactical insight that hasn't been evident in Hutch's managerial career so far.

Come off it you know Hutch,s match winning strategy, take a defender off and replace them with a ...... another defender. It never fails to fail.

I missed the goal on the Saddlers Player, was their goal a mistake by Walker? Kearns talked about it bouncing in front of Walker and going in, as though it was a keeper mistake?

Hutch will be in the dressing room now telling his players, they've got us exactly where they want us. Er sorry think I meant the other way round.

Saddlers World does not really provide a conventional commentary on the match, but it is more as if you are able to overhear a conversation between two people who happen to be at the match. Every now and then they talk about the action as it happens, but usually they are just chattering and if and when something important has happened they try to work out what it was.

Their first reaction to the goal was that it was a brilliant 35 yard shot. A bit later it seem to occur to them that perhaps Jimmy Walker should have saved it, but they were not at all sure.

Walsall manager Chris Hutchings told BBC WM:
"We've trained very well this week. We had a good chat on Sunday and the lads have worked hard.

"There are shirts up for grabs and they've got to show me who's worthy of a shirt this weekend.
"Everybody from Margaret who cooks the meals here to Arthur who's on the gate are all working extremely hard to get another win under our belts and get up the table."

That's made me feel optimistic.

Have Margaret and Arthur been given squad numbers?

:D

I heard that quote on WM's deep and insiteful, intelligent and thrusting interegation of Chris Hutchings before the match just after some idiot was interviewed who thought that the fans need to 'take some responsibility' for the teams poor performances. He thought that Chris Hutchings was not at fault for the teams performances and that we were 'unlucky' in most of our games. What a complete and utter prick, how can WM.....hang on a minute I've just answered my own question.

I am looking forward to playing my part alongside Arthur and Margaret in a three pronged attack on Tuesday night.

I must be dreaming :?

At this rate we'll be running out of games to overhaul the teams above us.

Already a two game swing to overcome.

Down before easter at this rate.

The Huddersfield commentary say that after the sending off they changed to a 4-3-1-1 formation moving Pilkington behind the forward , and guess who scored a few mins later.

Yet again ,an opposition manager changes something tactically , we fail to counter it and they score.

They are also baffled as to why we are sticking to 4-5-1 , trying to defend a 1-0 loss :?
