Oh well, fingers crossed for another one to give us some breathing space, but nothing on commentary suggest it's at all likely.

Yeah, it's mostly all them now, we should have taken this game by storm...

Overhead kick as the Brazil starting 11 come on for the Hartlepool starting 11, without anybody noticing.

Quote from last night's E&S ( approximate ) - We're gonna knock the Hartlepool door down. Yeah, whatever, didn't believe it then either.

I'm just thoroughly sick of all this Friday night posturing and hype. Disgraceful, just disgraceful yet again. How about you cut the claptrap and just get 'em to do it on the pitch, Hutchings?

Still wouldn't surprise me if Hutchings was still manager if we lose today and tuesday night.

It's actually a disgrace. This time I just hope people cant say we're unlucky either!
They've been the better team. I am seriously worried about this season.

Shocking. Absolutely shocking! Bonser get that terrible excuse of a manager out of this football club. How we can lose to a team like Hartlepool and the situation they are in is a joke.

Pathetic, couldn't believe the comments last night either, asking for more goals! Again today we would have had to score three times, impossible to win games every week giving goals away.

Only once this season have we failed to score, scoring goals is not a problem you moron, try keeping them out!!!!!!!!!!!

Cue a certain somebody spouting the usual nonsense about "I've said it many times, we were unlucky to lose by the odd goal".

This team and this club has well and truly acquired a losing mentality, and the only way to stop it is to make urgent changes. Six defeats on the bounce, no sign of an improvement, and CH reportedly saying that he isn't worried about the bottom four. Well I'll tell ya Hutchings, I AM VERY WORRIED ABOUT THE BOTTOM FOUR, and I'll bet quite a few fans on here are worried about that too.

CH MUST GO NOW, or relegation will become an inevitable outcome, and that would be a total disaster for this club.

If we get relegated (and we will with Dog Face in charge) - then I think we will bow out of league football in a couple of years time.

SOD OFF BONSER!! If you have any human decency you will piss off into the sunset and give back our club. I am seething.

At the end of the day, with gates of under 4k what can we expect, were a League 2 club, with a League 2 budget, a League 2 ground, League 2 players and a League 2 manager, League 2 here we come. Thank you very much our saviour Jeff Bonsor for takin us from being a low 4th division club and turning us into a.........

Unfortunately as nice a guy as Hutchings is , he seems to accept losing matches far too easily for my liking.
Oh for a Money or a Nicholl who you could imagine giving the players a rollocking after a defeat and then have the ability and know how to attempt to put it right on the training ground rather than the "Oh well,we were unlucky , its a fine line between winning and losing etc etc attitude of Hutchings

This guy has to go now, he is a career loser. He takes defeat too well and whilst he keeps doing that the players will never get the message that they aren't doing enough. I am fed up of hearing the same 'we watch the dvds and we are not far off', what dvds is he watching and 'we have worked hard on the training ground all week', whoopee do, so they should its their job. He asked for more goals, well maybe we wouldn't have to score more if he could organise his team defensively because when we are attacked we are far too easy to cut through

First time post after many years of reading.

Clearly, it's time for a big change!

To be honest though, in reply to an earlier post, it probably would do us good to get relegated. Strange to say, but the whole club needs to go back to basics. As with the post Merson season, we could clear out the dross, give some of our kids a go and get them firing and use the momentum to push on. We have zero momentum, negativity all over the place, and it's not like attendences could drop much lower is it?

My worry is is that Hutchings, who has clearly lost the plot, will squander what few resoures we have left in an attempt to keep his job if he stays much longer.
The bottom line is, if we are going to go anywhere this season, it's down. I for one would rather go down this season and see some positive, enjoyable attacking football in a lower division than perennially hope for mid table mediocrity. That is of course on the premise that JB will have learned that selling your best players when you are on the way up, with momentum, is going to mess things up!
