Time to play the "Clean Sheets Roulette Sweepstakes Thingy" (tm).
Only 6 teams of the 92 are yet to keep a competitive clean sheet this season. No doubt this Saturday (and the fact some have mid-week Carling Cup ties) will see more scratched off.
Bury
Derby
Everton
Stoke
Walsall
Wolves
Perhaps we can win something this year?

Hartlepool 1-2 Walsall
We're bad, but we arent that bad to lose to these! About time they bloody go down.
EDIT: According to Darren Byfields twitter he thinks he'll be out for 2 weeks with a knee injury, will find out for sure on Monday though.

If Hutchings loses this i do believe he will be in the mire, but he isnt yet.
Which is why we will win. 1-2.

I don't really care how bad Hartlepool are, i've seen us lose to far worse and i'm afraid as long as Hutchings is in charge i will have the feeling that we are going to lose every week.
ill go 3-1 to the home side with Richards getting our goal.

4-2 to we.
Macken and Reid to be amongst the goals
The Hutchings debate to rumble on as the natural order of mid table mediocrity is restored.
I will be having a nice wedge on a Walsall victory :D

You'll be correct on that front - it's turned a might chilly today with strong northerly winds. :(
However, i think the away stand gets sheltered from the notherly winds so though it might not be pretty on the pitch it shouldn't be too bad to watch.
Oh - and 2-1 to Walsall :)

1-1 draw. Macken with an early goal for us, before we go all defensive for the remainder of the game.

Hartlepool 3-3 Walsall in an explosive encounter demonstrating the best in inept defending.

Anything less that 3 points will be a disgrace and another nail in Hutchings coffin.

I think the back four can be taken as read, but I have no idea about the rest. If we're playing 4-4-2 I'd expect Nicholls right midfield, with Reid & Macken up front.

2-1, possibly 3-1 now I know that they are fielding quite a weakened side.
Macken with 2, Reid with 1.

They're getting closer to a goal, so it sounds.

Re: Hartlepool United (A) League 1 Saturday 25/9/10.
Good to see we're ahead, but how long for? It's really worrying to hear Mick Kearns saying so many times how critical he is of Brain's failure to dominate his box. Sounds like the defence must be quite "windy" about having Brain behind them between the sticks. :?
Oh well, fingers crossed for another one to give us some breathing space, but there's nothing on commentary to suggest it's at all likely.
