The Merseyside commentators (who like I said for the first hour were ripping the pee out of how bad Tranmere are) are saying tranmere were very comfortable winners and shoukd have won by more.

Well yes maybe he is, but did he stick him upfront? And why not if your chasing at the end and tanking balls in the box?

Bear in mind kiddies; as little as 5 league games ago Whalley said some fans were "an absolute disgrace" for wanting Hutch out. Food for thought....

Neither am I.
It's all well and good saying after the MK Dons game that they will be a top half team, but what about now? We've just lost to one of the weakest sides in the league and as Yoda said, according to Radio Merseyside they were comfortable winners and should of won by more.. Not looking good.

Walsall lose, i lose at dominoes and the Sloppies pull it round against Charlton: not a good day!

Can't believe my optimism is slipping so much at this early stage

If that's food for thought I've got indigestion.

Hutch reminds me of Merson. Every now and again he stumbles across something that works, but gives you no confidence that he knew it was going to happen, or that it will be repeated.

Still, it's only the Carling Cup, I suppose....

Whalley is a div but he is entitled to his say

But i say just look at the performances to see the facts - it aint very good on that pitch. No matter how much you want it to be......

my oh my that was dire.

Without 4 quality signings we are going down.

All those stupid people who got overly excited last season when we won a few on the 'friendly' games towards the end of the season must feel daft now.

We were embarassed by tranmere tonight, they were a poor side, who we once again failed to test.

Our football is so poor, id say its one dimensional, but im not sure we even have one dimension.

Well I got in for free tonight and I still feel ripped off.

We are clueless.

And to all the people jizzing over Taundry and the people that booed him being substituted, Taundry is worse than Richards, atleast RIchards goes looking for the ball!!

Oh well concentrate on league now.

Agreed about richards first half he was looking for the ball.

Couldn't pass for toffee easily bossed off the ball. We were lightweight in all departments.

Jockey mate, we shouldnt be thinking "oh well lets concentrate on the league"! Many were saying that what the club needed to at least lift some gloom, would be a cup run. EVERY SINGLE YEAR lately, we go out without a whimper in the first round, and its a disgrace! I cant believe so many people seem un-interested.

Lets look forward to a first round exit in the FA cup too shall we? Then we can have the exitement of a relegation battle to look forward to!

my god we were poor tonight
tranmere look like abottom 6 side and they didnt have to do much to beat us.
we lacked any width what soever and too many players either out of position or devoid of any idea or skill.

trust me that side is no better than a lower league 2 side at best
certain relegation ive never been more confident.
that is worst squad since bescot opened in 1990.

i dont think even 1 or 2 players will save us were just so weak all over the pitch from the goalie to the strikers.

thank god that is my last match im now a satyaway until hutch is given boot or we make 4 decent signings with that half million.
in fact i wouldnt trust hutch with that money in a million years.

just an embarrasment to support at the moment and im ashamed at what my club has been reduced to.

Okay we put McDonald up front at the end but what the hell is the point (as we did) of having an injury time corner and leaving 3 fecking players back, marking their one player?

Hutchings is a clueless idiot and it may be early in the season blah, blah, blah but why wait around to make the decision in a few months time that is blindingly obvious now? He is just so far out of his depth it's untrue.

At least we dont need the money from a cup run this year.

If I was Mr Bonser though, would I let the current management spend any of the hard earned?

I said it then and i'll say it now... We are at least an experienced defender and three further quality additions from being able to compete this season. When I say compete, I mean to compete for points in the bottom half of the table.

We are so weak!

one thing to say probably the SMALLEST playing budget for a squad (well its actually a joke to call them that really) in the football league
dagenham and redbridge and macclesfield have bigger budgets than us !!!!!!!!!!!!!
