Bevan
Westlake, Smith. Lancashire, Lescott
Jones, Marshall, Taundry, Gray
Deeney, Byfield
Probably end up as:
Brain
Westlake, McDonald, Lancashire, Lescott
Nicholls, Richards, Geddes, Gray
Grigg/Paterson, Deeney
3-1 to Warsaw
Paterson to score all 3, score 3 vs Wolves, Vile, Coventry and then score 37 goals this season. BELIEVE!

Percie has reported elsewhere that we lost 3-0. What time was kick-off then, it's only 2.16pm now!

We lost 3-0 this afternoon.
Apparently we played a 4-3-3 with Deeney playing in the middle of the forwards with Nicholls and Byfield playing off him. Geddes played all game in the middle as well.
Brain and Beven played a half each in goal.
We lined up:
Brain
Westlake
McDonald
Lancashire
Lescott
Marshall
Geddes
Richards
Nicholls
Deeney
Byfield
No one wore the captains armband though.
For the second half we changed the team and brought on a lot of younger players. The score at half time was 0-0.
Good to see we're willing to try something new.

Not too much to fret over then. I agree. Games like that are all about finding out what works and what doesn't. Some notable absences from the starting line-ups (especially both our specialist wingers) perhaps led to the 4-3-3 experiment.
Doesn't do any harm to have a look at the kids either.

Now we see the club's true colours. Banning three fans from games was bad enough but am I right in thinking that ALL Walsall fans were prevented from attending yesterday's game?
Unbelievable.

A terrible over-reaction from the club. Fancy tarring everyone with the same brush.

'Behind close doors' means exactly that. It's common for pre-season preparations to include playing other teams at training grounds, with no spectators. No-one was banned for any other reason.
