7-6 thriller.
We will have 2 men sent off and come from 5-0 down to go 6-5 up. Then concede 2 in the last few minutes to lose 7-6.

I seriously hope Cheesebag wouldn't do anything as stupid as throwing a fruit polo onto the pitch.

Doesn't he realise that they are the king of fruit based boiled sweets?

# 43:10 Assist by Alex Nicholls.
# 43:10 GOAL - Steve Jones:Swindon 0 - 1 Walsall Steve Jones gets on the score sheet with a goal from the edge of the penalty box to the bottom left corner of the goal. Swindon 0-1 Walsall.
Here's some stuff for those that are interested.

Interesting to see that Richards and Gray are playing, which must mean Wendy is presumably playing alongside Taundry in the middle, in the absence of Mattis. Be interesting to see, and hear from people there, how we get on with a more creative player in there - Taundry and Mattis as a central partnership has always lacked that creative edge, IMO, which was evident on Tuesday night, despite the scoreline.

I'd agree with that JJ, it's a pity that he has been played out of position for the majority of the season which may explain the bad press/reaction he has had to suffer from the boo boys. He's always involved and if not in pocession makes himself available for the ball, one of our least selfish players and least appreciated out of a bad bunch.

1 - 1 Charlie Austin just equalised :(

# 54:08 The assist for the goal came from Scott Cuthbert.
# 54:08 GOAL - Charlie Austin : Swindon 1 - 1 Walsall Goal scored by Charlie Austin from inside the six-yard box to the bottom left corner of the goal. Swindon 1-1 Walsall.

They would though, they're probably too busy with the 0 - 0 Dingles to give us an honest opinion.

Just checked the stats,

Pocession Swindon 69% Walsall 31%

Full time 1 - 1 Decent result, pretty happy with that.

A pretty decent result.

Should put us about 12th in the table now.

Can see us finishing in the top ten.

11 shots for us though, 4 on target.

A pleasing and deserved point, I gather. I'd summarise it as a 'game of two halves'. McDonald had a good chance in the first half and we were generally on top. Gilmartin had to be alert in the second half to deny Austin and McGovern; Walsall were restricted to counter-attacking moves which didn't genuinely trouble Lucas in the Swindon goal. It sounded like a hard-fought point, with every Walsall player doing their bit. This is from commentary, however, so if I'm wrong then I'm sure those who were there will correct me. :)

Err no, he started the season in centre midfield and looked even more woeful there than he has on the left. He cant tackle, he refuses to head, he's slow and weak...being able to hit the ocassional free kick doesnt make him a good player. Hence why we havent missed him in the last few games...because he brings nothing to the side.

A good point at the County Ground. 196 Saddlers in attendance according to their OS, although I was not one of them.
