4-1 this could end up a cricket score.

They are the best team in the league in my opinion anyway, didnt really expect to get nothing but a hammering.

Agree. This season is all but over. When we are safe from the drop we need to start building for next season. With no money around we might as well give some of the youngsters a chance.

The beeb stats back that one up. Saints have had 61% possession, we've had one shot (the goal I presume) on or off target up till now.

I'm going to be the first person to get on the bitterness bandwagon...
Southampton are put into administration with crippling debts, palm their non-footballing creditors and the state off with hardly anything, take the punishment of relegation and points deduction only to then start again as a new company who throw the money around. Sickening really...has there ever been a better example of such negligence in football than the three Solent teams?

Not true, the new owner paid off all of the debts.

We're only not in administration thanks to the "unique" nature of our situation.

Apparently they are spending "in proportion" to their standing in the league.
Only about 3m already this season :(

In that case, I'll hop back off the bandwagon and concentrate on the rugby.
I'd love to know what percentage of their income they spend on wages and transfer fees, though.

Before Tuesday I was, if we'd have won Tuesday and today we'd have an outside chance but obviously it's turned into no chance.

We'd have been 9 points behind with wins from the play offs in live league table (if we'd have won the two games); gaining 5 points on play off pack showing they're slipping up...

Byfield seems more interested about the 'party of the year' than Walsall!

And with Millwall,Colchester, Huddersfield and Swindon coming up. All teams that will be there or there about towards the end of the season. No chance in hell we would of been in the play-offs.

Generally poor defending by The Budget, and a non existent midfield performance by The Win at Leeds have cost us. Also a poor performance by The Young Squad and The Small Squad. If it wasn't for the great early goal by the UB40 concert there would be nothing to cheer...
... or did any of that affect the game at all? I just don't know anymore

I did say 'outside chance'.
